As well as you know I went to Russian River brewery yesterday and had pliny the elder on tap and it's such a great beer. I thought about a stout like parabola but I think I would get tired of it during the summer when it's stupid hot 🔥 🥵. So my answer is pliny the elder. Cheers 🍻 P.S. PLINY FOR PRESIDENT
I've been thinking about this a lot lately and I think my answer is Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Goes with any food, in any weather, any sports season, etc. Hoppy, malty, tons of flavor, refreshing, not a crazy ABV. Checks all the boxes.
~~~ LOL............... I just turned 67 and have never been married. Explains my answer. I COULDN'T DO IT. Perhaps one light AND one dark........... Great thoughts. CHEERS!
Answering this question lead me down a couple different thought processes. Initially, I was thinking something tasty, rich, complex and smooth. So, initially I was thinking Beer-Barrel-Time, or Hill Farmstead's - Aaron (BBA barleywine). But, you can't session those beer and I wouldn't want to drink them after mowing the lawn... or as a sipper on a hot day. So, my mind shifted gears to something lighter. Eventually, I decided on Hill Farmstead's - Society and Solitude No. 5. I love the light-plus body, the delicious stone-fruit flavors and the low IBUs/bitterness. I could drink that beer every day and in every situation.
I’m sure I could dive deeper into options to fit days that are hot or more complex options. But my go to, and on tap at my wedding, and the beer I had at my proposal is a two hearted IPA. Just a classic for me.
good stuff. probably sierra nevada pale ale for me! jack's abby post shift would nip at the heels, though, or one of the lighter offerings from fox farm. some other contenders: nebco sea hag or fuzzy, founders porter, pilsner urquell, schlenkerla erle or lentbeer, new park cloudscape, spaten, korbinian, two hearted, celebration!
Racer 5 by Bear Republic. Unfortunately it was only available in the UK for a short time, but while it was I made the most of it. Could happily drink only that beer until I cross the rainbow bridge. If it had to be a UK beer then Glue by DEYA.
I can’t name a specific brand. But I would drink a German pils if I only had one beer for the rest of my life. I like Belgian style brews, BA stouts and IPAs more but don’t think I could suck those down over and over for the rest of my days. Guess I’ll go with Bierstadt’s Slow Pour Pils if I had to pick.
I might pick BCS, if part of this scenario is the beer I chose is free. I can't pay nearly $20 a pint. Most would not pick a bba stout, but I sometimes feel like the last craft enthusiasts whom still likes to get drunk. 😂
@@NoHypeBeerReviews i found the very last bottles left of that in long island back around 2016. I was like I love the bitterness but don't like the sweetness at the end.. haha. Nothing has ever been bitter since.
For me its Guinness Draught all day every day! Cheers
Great choice!
This is tough. The first beer that came to mind was Pliny The Elder
The reason it was the first to come to mind is because it is a great choice haha.
Great choice! And a candidate that we can all get behind haha
I forget if I mentioned it in the video but I did entertain this one as well. Such a perfect beer. Cheers, Joe!
Great topic
Sierra Nevada Bigfoot, but it's tough.
I think you are going to like some of next week's video releases...
I love the thought process! And that is a great choice!
It was already mentioned by Joe, but the first beer I thought of was Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. And cheers from another big Bourbon County fan! 🍻
@@michaelwilliams9467 it is such a good choice. Definitely checks a lot of boxes. Cheers!
Pale ale is such a good pick. And a great list of contenders. These are so hard to do!
I have to say, I would choose Bourbon County Stout Cola variant , or Gusto Brewing Co. "May the 4th be with you" stout.
I haven't had that Gusto one. I'll have to seek it out!
Too funny, I was just talking about that beer yesterday! Racer 5 was awesome! Glad to hear your thoughts and I hope you have been doing well!
Belgium - Duchesse De Bourgogne - Brouwerij Verhaeghe Vichte 😋😋😋😋😋😋
Obviously you know I think that is a great choice. And I shoot for a slight buzz and feeling great the next day haha.
I'm a tad surprised you didn't mention New Glarus 🤔
Strawberry Rhubarb has been VERY close in some of these recent videos. I miss those fruit beers. Good call, Caleb! Cheers!
