Hey friend. Your video is really good, beautiful scenes and geat capture moments. But there are 2 big problem I want to share. - the oversharpening effect of android phones especially in auto video mode is really really horrible. The black are all crused. And everything look like it was painted by motor oil. - And the auto exposure of Samsung phones are still very unreliable for many years. The exposure always goes up and down, in a very strange and un predictable way, it really ruins the footages. So it is better to shoot with manual mode, with third party app, like mcpro24fps, or motion cam...
Hi! Thank you for you honest feedback! I definitely agree with you one these points 🤝 tbh this trip was initially recorded by using the Motion Cam app, that provides interesting features like pro res, LOG and no oversharpening. Unfortunately I find the stabilization to be quite bad, even on a gimball (that I never used when making this video bdw), and the dynamic range isn't that great too 😶🌫️ so I preferred using the stock app for these reasons. McPro24fps also suffers from these issues, at least, on my phone. Unfortunately 3rd party camera app on Android are still a bit disappointing as they do not fully take advantage of the camera hardware and image processing 😅
Hey, thank you for your honest feedback! I agree with you, I first tried to shot my trip with the Motion Cam app that offer a more natural output, but as expected with 3rd party videos apps on Android the stabilization is quite bad, even on a gimbal So I stayed with the stock app. I hope Samsung will let us tweak the sharpening a bit more, like for the photos 😶🌫️
@goatec9963 exactly, 100%. In Motion Cam stab is really terrible. Try shooting in a Pro Video mode, 8k - the quality is much better! You pick great angles, so now squeeze maximum from this phone 😎👍
nice! I am planning a trip for some clients at that region! I Have same phone but I am not crazy yet about video quiality. I guess a few more updates could improve the cameras. I mix with an Phone 12 pro, So i balance both issues system with the two phones. nobody is perfect :-)
Hi, I definitely agree with you. I'm not a huge fan of the oversharpening, so I hope Samsung will fix it 😶🌫️ but IPhone are still a bit better in my opinion for videos (+ have better quality 3rd party app for)
