Really enjoyed the video and I’m glad you got to travel again! The reason why the San Ana barnes and noble closed down is because there was a fire inside the building :( I used to go there all the time since I worked in the area the manga selection was amazing and the workers were always so nice! I’m so sad it closed down it was my favorite Barnes and Noble.
📌TO ENTER THE GIVEAWAY: 1. Like & Subscribe 2.QOTD (add I want to enter the giveaway at the end) 3. Follow on insta! instagram.com/boogiesnacks/ GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE ENTERING :) winner will be contacted on Feb. 1!
Omg I wasn’t expecting my local manga shop to be in the first clip! Lol I hope you enjoyed your time here! Edit since I just saw the giveaway question: I loved seeing you explore so many places I go to regularly! As someone born and raised in southern cali, having moved here in 2019, it’s always interesting to see people’s first impressions. Also, yes Texas loves bricks lol
This vlog was a fun way to start the new year! It's so much fun tagging along with you and Michelle when you go shopping for food and manga! My favorite part was when you had a mouthful of hot spicy food! Lol! And, yes, I want to enter the giveaway!
My favorite part of the video was you shopping at Kinokuniya! I have never heard of that store before, and now I'm intrigued!! I must see one myself one day! Also, I love your brief mention of Homunculus having a 9-10 Omnibus out! I actually just recently picked up that final volume of Homunculus and Im thrilled, definitely my favorite manga series as of now! I would like to enter the giveaway :)
My favorite part was seeing you guys go to Bucees. I went for the first time last year in Springfield, Missouri and felt exactly the same. It was extremely crowded, busy, overstimulating, but also cool to look at. I bought a bunch of beef jerky in different flavors to eat during my trip, as well as take home. I still think about them to this day. I want to enter the giveaway
It’s so crazy to see someone excited for / going to BAM for the first time when that’s technically my ‘local book store’ in VA! I’m extremely jealous of everyone who gets to go to a kinokuniya! Great vid!
my favorite parts was experiencing bam and bucee’s for the first time. it’s always fun to see people’s first experiences at those places, especially bucee’s! i want to enter the giveaway :)
What an awesome start to thr year! I've been to several BAM locations across New England and I personally think they're a little more consistent with not only selection of manga but their in-store stock than most of the Barnes locations I've been to. So glad you enjoyed yourself! My favorite part of the video was how exicted you were seeing new locations of stores you're familiar with as well as exploring new unfamiliar stores as well. Looks like y'all had so much fun!! I would like to be entered in the giveaway 😊
Thanks for sharing some of your experiences; this video was a blast! I could watch a full length video of you guys in Buc-ee's on its own lol. That Kinokuniya was my favorite part, so exciting to walk into that. Currently reading Fullmetal Alchemist Fullmetal Edition Vol. 3 :)
It was a nice surprise to see an upload happen right as I went to bed and on my BD. So first video to watch today after waking up. Never been to Texas, except in the airport, so I quite enjoyed seeing a few different sites in Texas. Definitely want to eat some BBQ when I go, but also want to visit Buc-ees! Seemed like a Wawa and a Walmart had a baby. But definitely looked much cleaner inside. Also, I knew Kinokuniya was from Japan but I have never seen a store in Japan (P.S. I live in Japan). Then I find out that there is store store in a mall that I visit a lot. Definitely will have to visit it the next time I go. I would also like to enter the giveaway.
i absolutly loved when you were talking and all of a sudden jus went "ooh persona" it would be cause i love persona so much and anytime i see it i lose track of what i saw saying lol i would like to enter the giveaway as well! happy new year boogie!
For the longest time I thought that Rainforest Cafe was just a part of Animal Kingdom at Disney Land. Since it was animal themed, and all. I was today-years-old when I found out that's not the case! And that first Kinokuniya was insane. I spied a green tote bag with a Shiba dog on it that I neeeeed, but alas, I am in the UK, I can't picture myself ever going to Texas.
Favorite part was watching you geeking over the Vagabond display 😄 as I have never read the series I would love to enter the giveaway to get a volume to try out!
Seeing the traffic in that Kinokuniya is always nice to see! The cultural clashes that occur in that store is nice. Nice to see it in NY and on your end with Texas! (I would like to enter the giveaway and thank you. You guys are my comfort channel)
My favorite part of the video is when you give a little history lesson on Kinokuniya, and explain what it is! I really enjoy it when you add this little touch because it makes me understand more about a bookstore. I want to enter the giveaway.
OMG you went to Carrollton? I go there all the time to go to H-Mart and I stop at kinokuniya all the time there! I’m so happy you got to go to my local book store . there is also a barnes and noble at parks mall in Arlington if you want another book store
Hi Boogie! My favorite part of the Vlog was you shopping at Kinokuniya! That is a fun store! I loved how there was so much activity in the store. It certainly is a vibe. I hope you got that model Car that looks sweet! I also love the little history lesson about how the stores were founded. Wonderful Vlog! I want to enter the giveaway.
My favorite part of the video is honestly seeing your reaction to different manga series as you are exploring. Also seeing you explore BAM was nice cause I've gone in and loved it. Hope that Michelle gets better from her cold! I want to enter the giveaway.
I would have to say my favourite part of the blog was when you were eating the pulled pork sandwich I was literally sitting like that would so be me Also I would like to thank you for the chance to finally get my dream box set (toilet bound hanako kun second stall) and I would like to participate in the giveaway ❤❤
I always love seeing manga vlogs like this and now I want to go to Texas because the food looks amazing! I usually never comment but I've seen Bu-cees in other UA-cam videos (JOLLY) and I'm so intrigued by it! I'd love to go one day, it's definitely on my list of places to go and it was my favorite part of the video. Plus, visiting Books-a-million because there isn't one where I live. (I want to enter the giveaway ^^)
Damn, that Kinokuniya was amazing, I would have walked out of there with an empty bank account but a happy heart. Oh man, it's hard to pin down my favorite part of the vlog but I think in the end it has to be your utter excitement when you took a bite of that pulled pork sandwich, the pure joy was obvious. I want to enter the giveaway.
My favorite part was me saying to my husband "omg they have arizona from a fountain" and then you saying that right after 😂 I'd love to join the giveaway!
Dude this Kinokuniya looks epic! I just visited the one in Little Tokyo for the first time in September. I should be going to Texas this July, so I HAVE to check it out now! Did you know they’ll ship your in-store order to your home for you? I got a membership for it even though the closest location is 5 hours from home.
really thought you'd've gone to a BAM! before, considering how many of them it feels like there are. my favorite part(s) of the video were those two little history lessons about kinokuniya and BAM! that you gave! those were really nice to hear, since i've never really bothered to actually look at their history, for some reason. I want to enter the giveaway.
That would've been crazy to bump into you Boogie lol! I live in Allen so I'm fortunately not too far from that Kinokuniya and it's definitely a sight to behold your first time shopping there. It is my go-to shop and it helps Korean BBQ is just down the street :)
Imho I always shop at kino mainly they wrap their mangas. Sure Barnes and sometimes Amazon offer deals for manga fo save on but issue is most of them get scuffed, bent or worst torn/stains on them. If want a new manga rather get it sealed then open, if used I might as well go to half price books to see if they got what I’m looking for.
My favorite part of the video is when you went to kino-kuynia and u was surprised with there selection and it just seemed so cool in texa becuase we have one in new york and it awesome. You’re the best manga creator. I will like to enter the giveaway.
moved to Texas nearly a year ago and have been shopping at 2nd hand book store ever since to find manga so as sooon as I saw this vid I had to start watching it to see if I missed any spots ^w^

Thank you for another great video! I really enjoyed watching you and Michelle explore other places in Texas other than bookstores since I have never been there myself. + I want to enter the giveaway
My favorite part from your Vlog was the shopping at Kinokuniya. There are tons of mangas and book from Japanese authors. Love the vibe and everything from the vlog. Hope you have many more interesting Vlog travel in 2025! I want to enter the giveaway
My favorite part was seeing yall going to Books A Million, cant believe those aren't in LA!! I live in Kentucky and BAM is one of the only book stores near me, its were i get all of my manga lol. Cant believe you've never been to one. I'd like to enter the giveaway
Pretty sure you are fully aware by now but may you return to Los Angeles when the wildfires are fully extinguished and air quality back to normal. I remember you mentioned you all used to live in Glendale or around there and thankfully the Eaton Fire hasn't reached too far west to claim a huge portion of the neighborhood. Otherwise at least you are away from all the chaos!
My favorite part of the video was when you guys went to the closed B&N! It reminded me of a time a few years back when I went to the Half Price Books in Concord, California just to see it totally gutted... I was distraught lol. I really liked the part where you visited the Kinokuniya, especially the history segement. I definitely wish there was one near where I live. Though, if there was I would end up spending all day there. (I would like to enter the giveaway).

My favorite part was seeing the inside of a BAM. I’ve ordered a lot of books from there. That Barnes at the end of the video is one I used to go to a lot, so sad to see it go. I think it closed down around Covid times 😭. I’d like to enter the giveaway.
I loved seeing you visit the Kinokuniya in Carrollton I go there all the time with my boyfriend it has such a good vibe and I love it so much there. I want to enter the giveaway
My favorite part was seeing Kinokuniya because the closest to me is NY or NJ (I’m in PA) so I’ve never been. Second favorite is probably the Books A Million part because again I’ve never been because there’s none super close (closest one is like an hour away). I would like to enter the giveaway!
My favorite part of the vlog was the hunt in Kinokuniya- I've always wanted to go to one, but there just isn't one near me unfortunately! I didn't know they'd have those Initial D kits, and $30 doesn't seem that bad of a price! Did you end up getting it? I would like to enter the giveaway!
My favorite part was finding out about Kinokuniya. Had to look up the closest one to me gonna play a trip soon. I would like to entered into the giveaway
My favorite part was definitely the Kinukuniya, I just went to the one in new york and loved it. But the vagabond wall is insaneeee. Also please want to be part of the giveaway :)

As a Texan myself, this video is pretty funny. Thanks for visiting, y’all!
Really enjoyed the video and I’m glad you got to travel again! The reason why the San Ana barnes and noble closed down is because there was a fire inside the building :( I used to go there all the time since I worked in the area the manga selection was amazing and the workers were always so nice!
