And that shows how melody and harpmony are really just a collection of notes without a pattern of rhythm to reference them to. Alex is such an understated guy, but he is the consumate pro in VH, and even though he isnt audible in the track I can fill it in from memory. And the middle section with the solo sounds like nothing without Alex's perfect skipping (jumping) pattern through that, leading to the hard 16th pushes that feel, like you are being thrown way up into the air, coming down every measure to Alex's bassdrum, "AND 1's", and launched up again. But to me, a drummer, its the many measures of loose time through that section where everything is purposely 'in mid air' with just the keys swirling, guitar thrashing till Alex walks down the toms to the landing zone with that big stupid grin on his face holding that last note between his hands in that building cymbal swell... Choke... Intro. That moment, is one of the great understatements of rock and roll. A euphamism for the power and technique of the Van Halen brothers. Alex particularly.
The guitar and keyboard solos pop more because the drums aren’t drowning them out

What did I only JUST find this? THANK YOUUUU! 61 f beginner 🥁
Thanks for doing this w/o drums. I play. I'm always looking for songs with the drums taken out of the mix. So I can play it myself.
This is weird because.. I still hear the drums. LOL 🤘
This is awesome I always wanted this
Thank You.

Request Don't Tell Me by Van Halen,, thanks 🙏
Could you do the end by the Beatles
without a metronome is different :)
ahh this tempo is a bit faster than the actual recording
I don’t know about you. But i don’t care :)
Quem.veio por causa do vídeo do Alasca kkk e se enganou e viu q não é a música mkm
WHY not just the Drum?😂
It's cool for drummers ; you work , you record, you become Van Halen's drummer...Usually you pay to have drumless ....
It would be nice to have just the drums and add ur own bass keys vocals and lead guitar
