Keane is my nr 1 band. Have seen them 6 times and it was super every single time. I think they do not get enough recognition. The emotion that I feel whenever I listen to their music is unparalleled. They are the soundtrack of my life since hopes and fears. No other group makes me feel like they do. All songs are great but my favorites are: Myth, try again, bedshaped, he used to be a lovely boy, thin air and put the radio on. Keane forever !!!

This song is reminiscent of their original style. Hopes and fears was an epic masterpiece filled with beautiful melodies. It was revolutionary as tim took and used piano in ways no one had done before. Under the iron sea was also very enjoyable as it expanded on hopes and fears with a dark twist with the use of synthesizers giving their music more of an electric sound. Sadly after under the iron sea keane changed a bit too much in terms of their style by bringing guitars in. What made keane unique in the first place was their piano/synthesizer combo. Keane's beautiful melodies came from the way piano and synthesizers were used in a way that no guitar was needed. Its okay that they experimented a bit with perfect symmetry but they have never been the same after bringing guitars in. There have been many good songs but not to the level of pre perfect symmetry.

Keane and Radiohead, the only bands i do love absolutely all their songs. I'm a huge fan of other bands like RHCP and sometimes, i catch myself skipping one or another song from them, but with these two, this not happens
