I understand that this video is already two years old, but at present time all my lenses are vintage Nikon AIS Lenses. It's great that Nikon let's you use both Analog & Digital with the same lenses..

I picked up a 80-200mm 2.8 with aprture ring for $250. A 70-200mm 2.8 is alot more expensive. And this one works on older SLRs aswell

The 100-300mm cost me 95 bucks and it was brand new.

What do you think of the Nikon: Nikon NIKKOR AI-S AIS ED 400mm f/2.8 . I have though about getting one which I am watching, and it is in excellent condition. It says it has a F Mount, but will it fit directly up to my D850?

Hi Mike I no nothing about that lens but if it is a AI-s it will fit on a D850 ok.
