Using an Existing Billboard to Build a Modern House in Fallout 76 CAMP Tutorial

- I found a weird billboard, so I thought I would make a CAMP around it ya know as we do sometimes. I'm still new to the modern house thing but I am determined to suck less majorly at it with just a little elbow grease and dedication and pretending I know what I'm doing.

Great vid again mate. I've spent many hours building in Fallout 4 and 76 and I haven't got your patience or whit. Its crazy to me that Bethesda does not promote content creators that can turn their product into to something they clearly did not predict. Keep up with the meds my friend 👍

That radio stash is really cool plus the lights as decoration right above, and the kitchen looks so, so good! It's actually kind of f*cked up our characters live in better conditions in a post apocalyptic world than most players irl 🙃

Hello, I decided to waste some time at work and punish myself at the same time as I often do, so I thought i'd scroll your archives for a video that looked interesting but instead i just decided to watch this one. My brother has learning and communication problems and I might be able to use your work to help understand and breathrough that communication barrier so thank you for that.
I like to go on Fallout 76 and walk around aimlessly with no drive and ambition and just stare at random objects for hours, this is also my real like favourite pass time.
I would say thanks for the upload, but I dont want to as I feel I am now even less equipped emotionally to handle the real world than I was 31 minutes and 31 seconds ago.

This is epic, your commentary had me laughing a lot and your build was such a great idea with the billboard. Honestly, you and TNG have inspired me to give camp building a try, as you’ve both taught me tricks I never knew about. "Bethesda made this door" sums up our building problems! Incorporating the billboard makes it such a unique camp and I'd like to try something like this but I don't have your perserverance.
You can do it! Just rage quit in small breaks throughout the process to take tranquilizers

@@misterchurch666 just made my first modern house build. It’s… well… I’m so proud of it. I used some similar decorations and atom shop stuff, however I did my best to use no glitches or merging or anything like that. Looks awesome too.

Nice camp name. The sheer complication of this camp is glorious madness. For me , I too can't be bothered with 76 right now because of the siren song of Elden ring and to be fair the patience to build all this would be beyond me but your craft here is amazing.

How can something so beautiful make me cry? Because I can never, ever replicate this. I was building TNGs latest “abandoned factory” this morning. I went off script, and under the map - “poof” - three hours disappeared as I tried to unf@ck my adventures down the rabbit-hole. I think there should be a feature such that using the Symptomatic 100 times in an hour makes you immune from disease. 😂 Entertaining, as always, dear sir. 👏🏻

As always you inspire. I think with all I've been learning I'll try my hand at making a build I made sometime ago in mincraft. I wanted to incorporate like a castle, modern home and rustic feel to something. Like to have all of that in one. I'll let ya know how it went in a month. Heh heh.

I can't wait to try to replicate what I've been learning from your videos and then get really frustrated when I can't remember exactly what I'm supposed to be doing and try to pull out my phone and scroll through all of your You Tube videos because I can't remember what part of what video the technique I'm trying to replicate was actually found in and then when I do find something I just get distracted watching something entirely different for ten minutes and forget what I was even trying to do in the first place, and then just give up and build a basic box with the default wall assets.
Do you, or does another creator you would recommend have a video that is a basic rundown of the merge method? It looks like it's pretty straightforward but looks like you use it quite a lot so I'd love to get some more insight into how it works

thanks! In the wasteland, using the bathroom is like schrodingers cat. If you never look at the bathroom, you never know if you need it or not. It is actually the act of looking at a toilet that makes you either have to use the bathroom or not use the bathroom. Therefore, to ensure you never need to use the bathroom, all toilets are kept from sight
26:50 I can't find anywhere how to display nuka-cola bottles the way you did here.
The trick with the wallpaper for powered doors wouldn't work for powered doors with keypad, unfortunately, because the second doorway would cover up the keypad. I use a keypad powered door in my camp, and Bethesda needs to fix this. It would be cinch for them to just put a decent texture at the back. I could use a regular locked door instead, of course, but I don't want players to become wanted by mistake, because that's usually what happens. (The wanted system really needs to be changed: only murders should give wanted status; all other crimes should just deduct caps, bullions, scrips, etc.)
I agree with you completely. You could hook a keypad up to this normal powered door too (even though the keypad is kinda ugly unfortunately)
That roof burning triggered my trauma from my last build... So many burned enclave roofs *head laser twitches*
Otherwise i like the build but i wouldn't not do a similar thing because I'm so in hate rn with 76 building...
is there a way to get a door onto that doorway wall catwalk blueprint? every door I try stays outlined in red and won't let me place it

Where did you get the red, blue and yellow light bulbs? I only have white i think.
Those are in the advanced lights set (in game plan), it’s called the cycling light, and it looks like the normal light but the bulb is yellow. You can click on it to cycle through all the colors or hook a terminal up to them to select their color and brightness

I'm new to Fallout thanks to the Amazon Prime TV Series, so I'm minutes old to the game... I wouldn't mind you doing a video on how to get underground thing you did; but in a bit more detail and whatnot. I think it's great they allow you to go underground in this game, Rust sucks in comparison to this game in that regard. I mean seriously, you jump too high and you get fly hack banned from a server which is BS but I digress... LOL....

@@misterchurch666 I will do that, thanks... Not sure why I haven't played this game before now unless I tried it when it first came out and didn't like it. I seem to recall Fallout 4 way back when but I didn't stick with it... Gaming has changed a lot over the years as I've been gaming since 1986 so I appreciate a really good game... Say, when I use Fast Jump in Fallout 4, there seems to be a bit of lag until I spawn; so much so many times I have to jump to the desktop then back into the game via the Win95 key. Is that normal or is something wrong on my end, PC Drivers or Network? If I'm being honest I'm liking Fallout 4 just a bit more than 76; I really like both but 4 edges out just a bit. I encountered some Aliens and got a super weapon and can kill most anything in a very short time; but anything I mean huge mutants and whatnot. I'm only lv 13 in 4 and have way better weapons then I do in 76. Most things are killed with a single shot while larger creatures take more but typically not much. Before I got the Alien Weapons I was getting crushed by Furl Ghouls and the like and now I'm killing hoards without needing to reload most times. They rush me and I just fire into them like nothing, most times I don't even get scratched. Of course I joined the Brotherhood and now have T60 Armor LOL... As I flip/flop between the two games I'm finding Fallout 4 to be a bit easier to adapt to; fallout 76 just has way too many quirks for my taste... Cheer's...
