Everyone is saying how bad they feel for Chloe and of course I do to, but man my heart breaks for Lucifer in the 4th season. He showed his true colors, than was more selfless than ever...trying to be the man the detective deserved. The one person he loves most tried to kill him cause she got scared, yet he stuck around allowing that thought to keep stabbing at him while still protecting Chloe. He truly has so much self hatred and finally admits how much he really hates himself to Dr. Linda and he can’t even understand why. Then he has to deal with the part he hates most about himself as it comes about him and he’s not able to control his devil side, and once he does get it controlled he then has to return to hell to protect the ones he loves on earth. He has to sit in hell for thousands of years without Chloe or any of his friends just so he can keep them safe. I mean damn. But my heart does hurt so much for the both of them. They have gone through hell and back, literally for Lucifer. Tom and Luaren did a phenomenal job in this.
I know that everyone will be very happy that the first 8 episodes of season 5 are confirmed complete, and should be dropping either this month or next. That’s what’s keeping me going, personally.

I like how they redeemed Chloe after that horrible season 3. The writers killed her character in that season but they did a good job at redeeming her in season 4. Seeing her come to terms with what Lucifer is, realizing that all her fears are in her head, and understanding that all the things that went wrong were related to Lucifers secret and that he had been there for her the entire time was really good to watch.

One thing I feel will happen when she sees him again, many tears will be shed
I found it disappointing that he basically wasted so much of his life. He saw immortality as a curse but he lived history. He got to see and experience things no one else will ever know of. He could have loved and chose not too.
