I just binged watched all of season 5 and I'll say that episode 5 is my favorite because it truly explains the truth about Chloe being a miracle (though we all knew better and the truth). In that yes she is a gift for Lucifer but not in the way he or others believed because the gift is her immunity to his abilities to draw out/reflect people's desires which means anything she feels for Lucifer is REAL and not caused by his abilities, due to her gift as being a miracle she is the only mortal to see him for who he truly is. So Lucifer and his mom had things reversed thinking that because she was a miracle and a gift to him her feelings were not real but in actuality they are the absolutely realist they can be because they are not caused by his abilities.

It cannot draw out or induce what they don't feel/desire. So Chloe's emotions are true regardless of Lucifer's ability to extract the truth. Even if his ability would work on her, she'd still be feeling the same. The only difference is that he'd make her more vocal about it

We actually had an easter egg in season 4 about Michael coming in season 5. When Linda and Amenadiel were trying to figure out names for Charlie, Linda suggested the name "Michael" and Amenadiel said, "No, definitely NOT Michael." Idk, do you consider this as a clue?
Funny how at that time, we are all clueless even the actors about that and just shrugged the Michael part, not knowing that he will be relevant to the next season.
Y'all I realised nobody gives Amenadiel credit... Cause of him, they're together because he gave Chloe clarity that she wasn't a gift from God, the way she saw Lucifer was. She felt that way because she did love him.
Tbh I think the fact that Lucifer hasn't said "I love you" back" doesn't mean anything. He did lots of good things for Chloe, risked his life multiple times. +As she said "I love you" while standing on the balcony he said "My first love was never Eve... It was you Chloe and always has been" which I think pretty much wraps up an "I love you" so I didn't fully understand this, but this series is really really good.
Something I noticed that proves Michael was lying about the reason behind Lucifer's newfound invulnerability around Chloe: When Dan shoots Lucifer, he does in fact die just like he did when Malcolm shot him in season 1. He gasps at the beginning of 5x08 like he's just returned to the land of the living. God must have caught him on his way back to Hell and brought him back. We've seen him and Amenadiel get shot before and the bullets bounce right off. But this time, Lucifer fell and "died" just like a human being would. I think God knows Lucifer will need his invulnerability all the time and actually has some control over it. He knows Michael will exploit his physical vulnerability around Chloe, so he took that card away.
Not to mention she had her fingers on his pulse and looked down upset, as if she couldn't feel anything, which would explain why she was so shoked that he was actually okay.
But ha also gasps like that in season 1 when the shooting happens in the beginning. He gasps and sits up. He also shoots himself again with Dan standing there and nothing happens. I think his being invulnerable is tied to the fact that he has always feared that Chloe would not love him. He has said it. “If you knew me, this side of me, it’s monstrous.” Remember he showed Linda his devil face but not Chloe, at first. It’s only in season 5, after she had said she loves him and slept with him, that he must feel content for the first time in years. He’s not thinking, “if she really knew me, she’d hate me. I absolutely love the new season! All my Deckerstar dreams are coming true and honestly I have been waiting for this since the beginning! Love how their bond is so strong that even Micheal couldnt fool Chloe, I mean the way Lucifer is around Chloe is just so so adorable!
I think if Lucifer Found Chloe dead he would get so angry 😡 and emotional he would raise all the demons from hell to find who ever was responsible (Micheal) and when he finds it was Micheal he wouldn’t just fight him he would go full demon king and try kill him with rage causing destruction in his wake and then when he calms down he would have realised he killed another brother and would have his devil face etc and banish himself to hell with guilt and unable to look uppon Any one but will they make a deal with dad so he would be able to visit her in heaven every now and then

Lucifer has proved numerous amount of times that he loves Chloe and I think she knows it too but just wants to hear him say the words I Love You as anyone would. But I think there is another reason Father Kinley in season four said if the Devil finds his first love Demons will walk the earth
