- Description from the podcast: American singer/songwriter Mitski joined us in our Amsterdam based studio for a 2 Meter Session. On piano and acoustic guitar she played a couple of songs of her brand new album record "Puberty 2" and some of her previous records. In between we talked about the intensity of her songs, her guitar playing and the title of the new album.

puberty 2 is probably the greatest album she made in my opinion. it just speaks a certain truth that no other albums can. i love her so incredibly much
Well said! I feel the same way. Bury Me at Makeout Creek seems to be the fan favorite but Puberty 2 hits the hardest for me.
I agree. It was an extremely cohesive work, thematically and musically and I think it was executed really really well
plus it sounds so different in a way then all her other work, her voice is a little more whispery and relaxed. I love Puberty 2.

Mitski playing lush songs brings me so much joy
Not gonna lie, I've been going through some grief and had a full-on breakdown as soon as she started playing Once More to See You even though I've heard this whole podcast ep before, and even though I've listened to the song a bunch of times since it's my favorite of hers. I know the song isn't at all about death but it has such a mournful sound to my ears. Hearing the line "If I could see you" destroyed me 💔
