Glad to see you back sir. Энэ зун сайхан амараарай!!!

All it took was a pandemic to give him a little free time. Welcome Back!
And a piece of a pvc pipe
Nick we've missed you please stay a while this time
OH MY GOD! Nick's back!
Is this a sign of 2020 getting better? :O
As they always say, ‘’there’s light at the end of a dark tunnel’’
Is it a sign we should all make pvc bows and that the apocalypse is coming?
*sigh* honestly I wouldn’t be surprised with what this year has been throwing at us,,😔😔
The Falling pigeon:
Those others often reply (as for sure the year 2020 would):
"That's a train..."
@@hallobre Yup. It means the Apocalypse is drawing nigh.
I missed the "Hey fellow backyard bowyers Nick here" in the intro
Good to know! Thank you!
Same!! Can't tell you how many of your old videos I binged back in the day, and that was the first thing I noticed too
@@BackyardBowyer We need that part. It's your iconic entry for us. Glad you're back.
Looking good 👍 thanks for the new ideas. I wish I could show you some of the bows I've made
@@kingsway731 You can. Make your own video about them and put a link in the comments section of Nick's channel. I don't think he would mind at all.
I was just thinking the other day I hadn’t seen a vid from you in ages and here we go 👍
Same case here I thought for a second I was going to hear the classic frase (Hello back yard boyers Nick here !)😂
Same. This made me so Happy. :)
Oh my god the backyard bowyer is back.... I’m 13 all over again! Your videos were literally a huge part of my childhood thanks man
Thank you! That is awesome!
I'm 71, and I use the blowgun everyday..
I have found that it improves my lung function...
Today, I took my first-ever PVC bow, made following the instructions in this video (just a little longer per your guidelines to reduce the weight to something novice-friendly) and tried it out. It put an Easton Jazz shaft (with duct-tape fletchings and 3D printed arrow nocks) clear across my front lawn - and my front lawn is NOT small.
I've wanted to get into archery forever, but never had the money to jump feet-first into a whole new hobby with all its associated "startup costs." Thanks to you, I've been able to get into traditional archery for almost nothing and also discovered an entire new world of satisfying DIY crafting I didn't even know existed.
I thank you profusely for the joy you've given me and the joy I know I'll have for years to come. It's a whole new ballgame.
nevermind the bow, where u been Nick?!!
We all missed you Nick! Hope you're well. Teach us things and stuff!!!
Jeez i watched ur vids as a little ass kid and still have some of the things i made
That is awesome! Thank you for watching!
@@BackyardBowyer ya man no prob i have a forge now and im into archery and tons of cool stuff i basicly learned how to make knive from you lol
😁👍
@@tylerscott1750 that's awesome I'm still a kid and I'm going to make one of your bows in the summer holidays
I live in the southern hemisphere
Both my boys (7 and 4 years old) have been using PVC bows since they could stand and draw. I learned how to make each of the different styles of bows, arrows, fetchings and strings from your channel and books.Thank you for all the great lessons, and the memories they've help us make.
That is awesome! They have a rad dad! Thank you for watching and building along with me.
I started an archery revolution in my town using what I learned from Nick. So nice to see you back with a pvc bow man.
Yeah! That’s rad! Thank you for watching!
My gf and I straight screamed “OMG YAAY!” When I showed her the video.
I’ve made bows for fun for myself and years after for our son, all thanks to you.
So awesome you’re back, we left a light on waiting for ya.
That is awesome! Thank you for waiting and watching!
He returned! And back to his roots! The future seems a little brighter already
Thank you!
As you can see, you're well-loved in the community! We have all missed you and its good to get another awesome video! You look amazing! Lost a little weight, added a few years of wisdom and back to a crowd that's missed you! I eagerly, along with everyone else, await your return to enlighten us with new video's! Well done!!
Thank you for the kind words! I appreciate it.
Glad to see you're doing well Nick! Welcome back! The wise master has returned!!! 😆
Glad to see you back in the saddle again. I have never even tried to build any of your bows but I sure do love to watch you making them. Don't disappear.
Thank you!
Yes! It’s so good to see you again! Welcome back.
Finally working on my first bow after buying a heat gum two years ago!
My favorite part of this video is when you hear (clearly a very cool) kid ask to be in the class.
Thanks again for your work!
I have to echo thus sentiment.
Welcome back Nick!
Such a master. So many subtilties in everything you do Nick. Thank you for beginning to share your depth of knowledge and experience with us again. Such a calm spirit and confidence. Thanks man.
😊 Thank you for the kind words!
I enjoyed it immensely, but the best was the sound of your children around you as you worked and your father heart so evident in your voice as you interacted with them
I never liked making or wanted to make a PVC bow, but watching your videos, have opened my eyes to making a bow.
I will start making one in the next few weeks, enjoyed this video a lot, so thank you very much., God bless you and your
family.......
So glad to have you back!!!
Hey welcome back! My son and I used to watch your channel all the time
Thank you!
Still goin! just finished 3 new bows recently and came back to your channel for reminders. thank you Nick!
Glad youre srill around. You're part of whats awesome about youtube and the internet.
Didn’t think I’d ever see you post a new video super happy you did though
Welcome home, sweet traveler! It took a pandemic to bring you back...but now that you're back, you must never leave us again. XD
Thank you!
Always loved these bows. Thanks Nick. My first time pvc bow was the 90 lb . Way too tough. A friend broke it stringing it up. I am going to try this one. I made a wood flat bow from American ash. That was fun but only ended up at 35 lb cause I was too cautious trying not to break it. Got some more ash to try again. Such a great hobby for me! Thanks again for the joy you bring!
I want you to know;
I built my 1st bow to your videos.
It was the horse bow w/wooden siyahs. I built it in 2013. It finally broke last weekend.
I have a 28"/30" (European / thumb draw, respectively)
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I'm so glad you're back!
Looking like you weren’t ever coming back. Then “ POW” and you look healthier! Welcome back!
Thank you!
Yes!! You would not believe how long I’ve been waiting for another upload. How’ve you been Nick? How’s life going for you.
Thank you for waiting!
@@BackyardBowyer Your looking younger with the weight loss and for sure healthier. Good job Nick!
Dude seriously love watching you make bows Nick, thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences with us!
Thanks for highlighting the proper twisting when making your string. What a difference!
You’re welcome! Thank you for watching!
YAAAY YOURE BACK! You inspired me to make my own a few years back. I still have it and it works well.
Awesome! Thank you for watching!
welcome back bro we've missed you 💛💛
Thank you!
You never cease to impress me!
Been watching you for years, on and off!
You make it look easy!
Looks Darn Good Too!
I was literally looking through all your old videos 2 weeks ago wondering where you went, and now here you are with a new video! love it.
That’s cool! Thank you!
Nicky my boy ur back. Gave me a lot of inspiration back in the day. Hope you’re doin good
Awesome! Thank you!
Wow I really missed this channel I'm so glad to see you back and being the master craftsman you are ! Welcome back friend we need you now more then ever ^^
Thank you for watching!
You are an outstanding teacher and craftsman. I have shaped my share of pvc working in the electrical trade. We would block at least one of the pvc with duck tape, so as to hold the heat in and heat from the inside also. Saves around 50% of heating time.
Thank you for watching and sharing your knowledge!
I like backyard bowyer. When he stopped her videoes I was sad....It s cool that he back on youtube!
Good to see you back!!
Man, I google asking if you had died. Glad your ok and welcome back to UA-cam
Man, this brings back memories when I first started in archery.
Welcome back. Hope all is well.
Awesome! Thank you for watching!
Rewatching this masterpiece again, almost 6 years of being your subscriber! God bless you sir nick.
THE LEGEND HAS RETURNEDDDD
Return of the legend!
I had watched your videos for the longest and I am so glad you are back. I've made three of your lighter recurved bows and this one hits the spot for me currently, but in about 40 pound pull. Thanks for being back and I look forward to seeing what you come up with for the future.
Just found your channel today.
Content like yours is the reason UA-cam still has a high value to me.
I appreciate that! Thank you for watching!
THE MAN. THE MYTH. THE LEGEND. You're back! I'll gladly watch ads for ya my guy.
Thank you! I appreciate it.
the return of the king

Want to thank you for all the time you put into sharing your knowledge my friend. Many of us are broke and can't afford much beyond the pvc pipe..you show us were there is a will there is a way..Stay safe and keep sharing all that knowledge bud it truly is helpful💖🙂

So thankful I stumbled upon this today. Looks like something my son and I will need to try and do. Thank you so much. God bless you brother!
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Fantastic to see you, and your vote making again! Awesome.
have you tried using steam to heat up pvc? or even heated up sand or boiling water to distribute even heating throughout the pipe? (edit: pls like this comment so he can reply)
Well burn my biscuits. Good to see you again.
Thanks, Nick. I looked at a lot of your videos before I built my first PVC bow. This is the one I built. It shoots pretty consistent, but I think it needs some fine tuning. Thanks, again. I love your content.
That’s awesome!

Good to see you again Nick! Welcome back!
Thank you!
Now I don't know what is crazier, grilling a PVC pipe in the garden or watching it on UA-cam for 50 minutes? The result is great but looks like a lot of hard work.
Very nice string making.
Greetings from Germany
Very clear, very well-explained, good vid. Even if I never actually make the whole bow, I understand how to make/fix my own strings. Very groovy! Thanks!
Awesome! Thank you for watching!
Great video as always, hearing your voice of wisdom is so relaxing. Im still making bows from your old videos! Hope everything is going well for you!
Thank you!
Great to see you back making videos again. Looking forward to more in 2020. Thanks.
