There is a huge difference between normal army training and special forces training. 😉 And I know that Russia still has conscription in force over there. But fair play to you for getting that far in it... pity about your knee! Can you not go for it again, if you are interested in completing it?? 🤔

My dad was a ranger and I'm fascinated by this would love to give this a try and see if I am able to go through hell just like my dad did

Interesting that the training is universal for western special forces and is all based on the British SAS.
He did not remove himself from that programme. They removed him as he was actually showing them up.
