Cromer is a coastal town and civil parish on the north coast of the English county of Norfolk. It is approximately 23 miles north of the county town of Norwich, 116 miles north-northeast of London and 4 miles east of Sheringham on the North Sea coastline.
Cromer is a favourite with families looking for a more traditional seaside holiday. With great sandy beaches, museums, surfing, plenty of attractions and wonderful walking along the Norfolk Coast Path, Cromer is a great place for a holiday, any time of the year.
Cromer is a traditional seaside resort and is famous for its pier, home to a lifeboat station and Pavilion Theatre, where the UK’s only remaining traditional end of the pier variety show takes place each Summer and Winter. The pier is an enduring example of Victorian architecture, having withstood many storms, tidal surges and even an attempt to blow it up by the Government in WW2 to prevent the pier being used as a landing strip for enemy invaders!
Unmissable on the Cromer skyline is the 160ft tower of 14th century church St Peter & Paul with vast stained glass windows commemorating Cromer's lifeboat crew, the most decorated in RNLI history. There's also a museum named after Henry Blogg, who served for 53 years on Cromer's lifeboats, who, with his crew, saved over 873 lives from the North Sea. Cromer, perched on the very edge of the north Norfolk coast, is famous for its tasty crabs, wide open beaches, a traditional pier complete with a theatre providing seaside special variety shows and is awash with small local independent shops. As you would expect of a seaside town rich in its fishing heritage, it has a lighthouse and a proud tradition of RNLI service. It has been said that the lifeboat service is the lifeblood of the town and the Henry Blogg Museum offers a great insight into the service's past history.

How about Tenby or Porthcawl on the South Wales coast or Barmouth on the North Wales coast, nice video and music by the way.
we used to use a site there all throughout the summer, its a lovely area. loads to do and close to so many beautiful spots.

Wasn’t that a lovely place to watch the sea. I do like a visit to the coast when it’s out of season despite the cold. Hope u had a coffee to fuel a walk back up those steps. Keep on walking 😀
