- Welcome to my fleet histories series. In it I review year-by-year aircraft fleets of an airline.
In this video I review British Airways's Concorde fleet from 1976 to 2003.

An extra special machine, absolutely beautiful.
CONCORDE TRULY IS THE SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE. "THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE WORLD OFFER FROM THE WORLD'S FAVOURITE AIRLINE." A MASTERPIECE OF INCREDIBLE ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE"
I love the Concorde! The only bad thing about it is that it makes a lot of pollution. It's still a beautiful plane though. :-D
Not really, on the tests on its vapour trail in the 1970s (btw these were the original Olympus 593s) it was almost pure water. I found that out from the programme Concorde Story.
Interesting.
Ariso Light Wow, no counter-argument, just "Interesting" xD.
:-D
Fuel cost killed it as well
Robin likes that music
Concordes will come back in 2019
I highly doubt it, it would take at least £1bn to get it airbourne again, let alone the maintenance costs, fuel costs, and getting the plane certified to even fly again...
You got boom supersonic ;)
But unfortunately, the Concorde didn't return back to flight in 2019. As we already passed year 2019, there's no news about the Concorde is flying in the sky once again. They got delayed.
This was actually Ibirdball's first fleet history video.
Ibirdball
, 2003 was actually the 34th year of the Concorde's service life, since it started flying in 1969. See what I mean at 3:13?
Wow. My baby would look good in its landor livery!
there are many concordes on display in various locations. such as the test model at duxford, a British Airways one at east fortune, a air France one along with its Russian counterpart the tu-144 charger (also known as concordeski) in Sinsheim, germany and strangely a wooden concorde in the colour scheme of the test model in Hermeskeil in Germany. (Also can fact: inside the Hermeskeil one it is a cafe that serves coffee and cake.)
I know, but this is fleet history of planes in the period an airline operated it.
+Ibirdball I know I just thought it might be nice to tell you where you can find this beauty. (Also I think me telling you some is kinda pointless since you could just type into Google concorde locations.) =D
Ive been in the one in germany
I'd love to go to the one at Brooklands, Duxford, Filton and Manchester.
+Ibirdball Ive been in Manchester too my parents actually saw a real concorde in londen
I already have the fleet history of Singapore Airlines Concorde.
Ah yes. The shit one made out of 144p?
I wonder why this was your first one? Hmm I have no idea
Take a guess...
