- Ryan Gosling at a mormon talent show in late 1991, with his sister Mandi. This was before he won the spot on the mickey mouse club. My family and I was there at the time and filmed everything. A couple years later we found this video collecting dust in our garage, so we posted it on UA-cam! This video is provided by Sarah, Gary, and Rossana. We own all the rights to this video. OMG, I couldn't stop laughing--in a good way!. I indirectly grew up with him. We lived in the same city at the time this was recorded and I competed against him in a few talent competitions. (He was much better than me!;) He was often the talk of our puny, little, blue-collar town, especially when he went off to the Mickey Mouse Club. My older brother dated Ryan's cousin briefly and I would ask her questions about him, lol! Anyway, great actor, always really talented, way to go Ryan!

We were living in the same city that Ryan was for a year while my husband went to school ( proabably wherethe talent show was). Because we had no where to stay when we had to leave ( when My husband was done school)- Ryan's fmaily opened up their home to us to live with them ( there were 6 of us at the time)! Mandi babysat our kids..I don't know if he remembers us being there? 1989..Phillips family from Alberta…! :)

I almost never go there. I was sitting on a bench outside of CoCo Rico which is right next to Schwartz's and they passed right by me, both wearing sunglasses.. it was the mole on Eva Medez cheek that made me somehow recognize her right away. I don't watch much t.v and had no idea they were a couple, barely knew who Ryan was.I could tell that he was showing her his roots and she was really into it. you could tell. She stepped outside Schwartz and was smiling and taking in St Laurent st.

Cool! I buy a lot of chicken at CoCo Rico. He is one of the best young actors at the moment and has been in very good movies. Good to know that Ryan is still close to his roots. Better to stay Canadian as much as possible than convert to that world he is living in. St Laurent has its charm.

Thanks ever so much for posting this and sharing it with all of us who can't get enough of R.G. Mandi is a better dancer but Ryan has such sex appeal, very like what he is now, an okay actor but definite heartthrob. I really like how he relates to women in this movies, eg. tender, loving, attentive. That makes him an A++++ actor.
