When the judge said he can always dismiss the case the defense attorney stroked his pee pee.

The defence are laughably unprepared, disrespectful and rude. The State guy's histrionics are rude, laughable and unprofessional. Judge Glenn Kelley deserves a medal for his patience and calm demeanour with the lawyers' childishly behaviour. I've NEVER seen anything like this circus. Poor Judge and Jury members.

Her lawyer doesn’t know the difference between a microphone and recording equipment. Just because they could hear it doesn’t mean that it was recorded if there was a malfunction, he obviously doesn’t know anything about technology.

does anyone here believe that if a man thought he was hiring someone to kill his wife to get the house and her money that he would just be sentenced 220 years but he would only be serving it on house arrest and get a retrial and because of of how the state handled the evidence get a retrial and maybe get let go for that matter

no really if a man was trying to kill his wife and was talking to a cop that was posing as a Hitman to kill his wife that is soliciting a cop to commit murder but one thing and it's in a cop car unmarked cop car do you think that person would just be on house arrest and get to live with his mommy

Claypool just doesn't want the jury reminded of exactly WHAT his client wanted done to her husband. Too bad. They've clouded up this case so much with nonsense 'oh look not there! But over HERE'.

When the integrity of an investigation is compromised by law enforcement desperately trying to get themselves onto the cops TV show, such an outcome needs to be expected in all States, not only in Florida.

      Yes,
When law enforcement conduct themselves this way it's enough to cause doubt in any case. They showed obvious fame-desperation. Don't blame me, blame them.
We pay law enforcement to do their work with the highest levels of integrity. They failed miserably in this case.

A man supposedly walks into the police station and reports that he is aware of a woman that is trying to get her husband killed:
What should be police dept's immediate duty and the right way to handle such a report??
    A) Investigate the credibility of the situation, immediately protect anyone that may be in harms way (the potential victim) question the suspect, arrest as necessary.
    Or
    B) call in The Cops Show to shoot a good tv episode, don't bother to question or arrest the suspect, don't bother taking the potential victim out of harms way for 7 days long, don't bother to investigate the complaint, because your main priority is to get the Tv Show going so it can bring u some good fame.
    This says it all.

Singer It's fairly entertaining how deluded your thinking is. You have repeatedly misstated the evidence, misrepresented the facts of the case & conveniently ignored the damning evidence against your girl. Bottom line is this-
      1. Mohammed went in & claimed his ex, whose last name he didn't know, was trying to hire someone to kill her husband, whose name he didn't know either. He wanted to remain anonymous but at the same time he stated clearly he felt he'd had to come forward Bc he couldn't sleep at night if some guy was killed & he'd said nothing.
      2. The police didn't know this guy from Adam & additionally didn't even know the suspects last name! So, they decided to have him be an informant, call Dalia in a recorded call-so they could see if this dudes claims were even credible. When they realized he was telling the truth, they asked an undercover cop to pose as the hitman & be introduced to Dalia. (This method btw is done by police depts across the country)
      3. The cops DID investigate! They made Mohammed an informant, asked an undercover cop to pose as a hitman & set up a meeting between Dalia & the hitman-they did this to see if she was truly serious about wanting her husband dead & to determine whether or not she would actually go through with the plan of hiring a hitman. That is an investigation! What, are the police suppose to call up the suspect & say "hey, are you trying to have your husband killed?" Im sure any reasonable & sane human being would admit that to the cops. Lol.
      4. The cops didn't wait 7 days to notify Mike! Mohammed came to the police late on July 31st. Dalia met with the hitman August 3rd. That was the first day they had concrete evidence, other than Mohammed's claims & a few recorded phone calls, that Dalia was in fact trying to hire a hitman to kill her husband. Dalia was arrested August 5th. So, if the cops waited at all, it was 48 hours, not 7 days. And the reason they waited 48 hours is because they knew Dalia wasn't going to get her hands dirty as long as she knew the hitman was planning on killing her husband on August 5th. Even defenses expert in the 3rd trial testified that the decision of whether or not to notify the victim was not a right or wrong & it was up to the investigating officer. Granted, he did say the police should have put Dalia under surveillance, to ensure the victims safety. However, that's almost impossible to do when you're talking about a husband & wife who are living together. Bottom line is they believed Dakia wouldn't take matters into her own hands as long as she was confident he would be killed that week. (And they were right)
      5. The show COPS had been scheduled to film for MONTHS! No one "called them in" upon learning of this juicy investigation. Whether Mohammed had ever come in & told them about Dalua or not, there would have been a cops episode filmed during that time period. In fact, COPS filmed additional investigations & had more than 1 episode based on that police dept. Of course, when they learned of a murder for hire plan they wanted to film it! And there were dramatic aspects in this investigation that may have been encouraged by the COPS production crew. I.e. The fake crime scene & bringing the "hitman" into the interrogation room. However, those dramatic scenes did not taint or alter the evidence. In fact, I've seen multiple arrests of murder for hire in which they brought in or showed a picture of the hitman & asked the suspect if they knew the person.
      6. There is no evidence whatsoever that the police department fabricated ANYTHING. What there is evidence of is that the police department had only ever investigated 1 murder for hire-EVER. And of course they made some mistakes
      7. The mistakes I see made by the police were-the public relations lady posting the fake crime scene while an investigation was still ongoing, not giving Mohammed a portable recording device to use for phone calls that occurred when the police were not present & their decision to go ahead & have the meeting at Chilis even though the wire wasn't working.
      8. So, where there mistakes made? Definitely. But do those mistakes mean they didn't catch Dalia red handed, trying to hire a hitman? Absolutely not. She's guilty because of the words that came out if her mouth-period. End of story.
