Metal Slug 2006 - Mission 9 (Normal, Tarma, New Game)

Seriously, Tarma is the best character, I don't care what anyone else says.
This mission's cutscenes put me the hell to sleep. It's just a bunch of characters standing around, talking, doing NOTHING! Hello guys, you have the bad guys at gunpoint, SHOOT THEM. Why the heck are you standing around, arguing philosophy with terrorists? Also I refuse to believe anyone can raise their wrist up in time to block bullets, even if they do have bulletproof shield things. The Allen boss fight is... eh.

Wow I have to say that's definitely one of the most unique villain motivations i've seen, was not expecting the game to take a left turn into the creation of all human life.

My favorite bit is when Ogma says "Let me entertain you with a story" before it fades to black... then immediately fades back in so Tarma can interrupt.
Ogma might as well have skipped the story, his ASMR voice is drowned out by his own bombastic music.

Just curious why you pass up the Enemy Chaser power ups?

I pass up most weapons in this game, because once you get a weapon, they stay in your weapon cycle forever, even if you deplete ammo for them, making scrolling through weapons to get the one you want a massive pain, not to mention time consuming.
I've always disliked the Enemy Chaser, even in the 2D games, because it never hits what I want it to hit. In MS2006, it's made even more redundant as holding the target button instantly locks onto a target and tracks it flawlessly within a large range, so I really don't understand the point of the EC in this game.

As a Tarma main(?), it sucks that you have to play past half of the entire GAME to unlock him.
This is New Super Mario Bros. 2, but worse.
