Sunday 11:00 AM Eucharist

We welcome you in Jesus name to worship with us at our 11:00 AM Sunday Eucharist as we celebrate the 2nd Sunday after Epiphany. Deacon Robert Alan Shivers preaches “Holy Pastors: A New Name” (Isaiah 62:1-5). The color of the day is green, which signifies growing in the grace and knowledge of the one true God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
From the console of our 47 rank Austin pipe organ with trompette-en-chamade, Bill Glisson leads the singing of joyous hymns: “The Star Proclaims the King Is Here” (Entrance); “Soul, Adorn Yourself with Gladness” (Hymn of the Day); “Songs of Thankfulness and Praise” (Recessional). Our Sunday distribution hymns are: “Now the Silence”; “Come, Join in Cana’s Feast”, “O Father, All Creating.”
Special music for the weekend: Bill Glisson’s prelude “Soul, Adorn Yourself with Gladness” (Osterland); The Adult Choir sings “Oh, How I Love Jesus” (Pethel) at the 11 a.m. offering. Bill’s postlude is: “Songs of Thankfulness and Praise Trumpet Tune and Recessional” (Ashdown).
