TheSongOfStorms Err, as a game? Sure, it's not really two comparable games though, one is a side scrolling platformer and the other is a top down RPG. Apples to oranges.
The music in Sonic(at least the Megadrive ones) fits the stages amazingly well and were all really good songs(Like so many games from that era).

LOVE IT. Congratz from Brazil. I really love when people have personality and do medleys like this, without the Green Hill and Emerald Hill's theme. Chemical Plant is the best zone song ever from all games. And the medley ended perfectly with the END song from Sonic 2. How not to listen to that, and recall the slides scenes from tails searching the skyes, taking off with de plane, Sonic Falling and getting along with Tails at midfall. Majestic. Thanks for the great medley. One of the bests I ever watch.

Some of these tracks are the least likely I would look up for covers or medleys, but they work very well with what you were trying to achieve. They have layers of guitar and bass that make them excellent to enhance.
The 'Sweet Dreams' bit was probably my favorite. That rendition of Sky Chase was also just so amazing. Would have loved to see more Sonic 3 & Knuckles love, but regardless, great medley, and great video in general!
