    A very interesting discussion. Indians' ability to adopt new technology and new concepts is often not sufficiently recognized. Be it decimalization of currency (1957), weights and measures (1960) and digital payment and Internet usage are examples where adoption of innovation puts US customers to shame. Is it because it is easier to build up from a much lower, weaker and not invested base? By the way it was a chauffeur in India that taught me the ease of WhatsApp ("missed call de dena") during one of my visits to India!
