Just found your channel. I don't see the fault all at your side at 13:00 . Would say its an racing incident.
Congratz on the win
Congratulations on the WIN!! Massive scary moment, but you got yourself a fresh start afterwards!! Love to see your progress, and I can only wish my car would do what yours does 😀 Stay focused!
great job loved the video. 1.8T all the way!
Wow what an emotional rollercoaster this video was 😂 well done mate 🎉 gutted about the points on your licence though, wasn’t your fault imo!
Well done on your win ✊🏻
That really was an up and down event.
More of a racing incident especially if he said he knew you were alondside
Thought you nearly spun again on your warm up lap 😂
Car sounds a beast as your doing quick lift offs around the fast section 🔥🔥
Great video again 😊
Wow. What a weekend?! Congratulations on the epic win mate! Been quite a journey.
Well done again Nick , the chequered flag was a disaster !!
Well done on the win mate!
Car looks to be doing outstandingly well!
Congratulations just found your channel epic racing I’m subscribing and by the way WHAT A WIN 🏆
Thanks Paul! Really good to have you onboard 🏁🤓👋🏻
Great video! Congrats on the first (of no doubt many!) Win!! Great to meet you on the Saturday, despite the carnage 😢. A proper rollercoaster weekend, and no doubt one you'll remember for a very long time 🏁🏁
Cheers Dave, really nice to meet you too and hear more about the TVR! Hope to see you at a CTCRC event again some time :)
Can't see that being deemed your fault, you both went for it and touched, 50/50 in my unexperienced eyes.
Anyways massive congrats on the win mate, you really deserved it especially after the day before. Here's to many more 👍
Gutted for the situation in race 1 and the points situation. As others have said, it feels a bit of a strong reaction, especially given how cleanly you race normally and how personable you are.
Huge congratulations for your first win though! (Even with the shambolic end 🤦♂️) That can't have been fun to manage when you should be relieved and elated about winning a race from the back of the grid!
Keep doing what you're doing and here's to more success
Well done mate, first of many no doubt 👌🏻
Simply well done! more to come!
Thanks man 🥰 RWF splitter held up good ❤️
you clearly have been testing it to destruction lately!!!! @@TeamPrawnRacing
Defo a racing incident and no need to be handing out points on your license.
How on earth you didn't turn the air blue during or after your shunt, I will never know. I think you've got a much more mature approach than I would have!
Well done great drive first of many 🏁
Happy for you mate, well done 🏁🏁
Bloody good show and well done to you all💥💥💥
Great video and well done on your first win, I think they got it wrong in putting the blame on you, there was plenty of space for you and the e36 keeps moving over, also the same e36 forced you to cut the chicane to avoid contact with him earlier in the lap.
Looking forward to the next one🏁🏁
You know, I'd not considered that! Certainly no room left for me at the start. Perhaps that should have been a warning...
.
Well done!
Such a shame what happened we all have opinions what happened but end of day getting points for that accident in my opinion is wrong but the powers of be have made there deduction and that’s that good to see u got back out and proper kicked arse well done to all the team and sponsors 👌👌
Ayeeeee congrats!
Congrats on your win!
I am curious are points automatically given if an incident is determined to be your fault no matter what, or is there a criteria to follow. ie percentage of blame, severity etc.
What Im getting at it is could they have said, your the one who could have avoided it, but not given any penalty points.
Just look at the steering input of both drivers, unlucky decision to swallow 😕 nice Goodwood GTi.
no rearview mirror on BMWs🤷♂Good race!
Harsh! The bm closed you out😊
Id be really curious to know the other cars feelings about the situation. To me he seemed to be playing dirty with quite a few turns you and him were in. It qlso looks like he took a very sharp and quick turn directly into you which caused the accident. Did you get to talk to the other driver? Did he see that he made a mistake?
👀 that 309 tho 😍😍😍
Beautiful isn't it! It's turbo'd too!
What does that red button do? You seem to pressing it a lot on the straights to pass people?
Pad knock back the bane of my existence!!!!
Tell me about it! I'd love to experience something that didn't suffer from it, you know, like a real car!?
What's the rules for power? Your finger is on the boost all the time. Congrats
Well done you deserve it
So what Kirk squeezes you against a wall at full throttle on the main straight, that irresponsible driving! You’re not going to back off or hit the brakes with cars behind, that in itself causes accidents! Don’t worry about it, onto the next one!
Looks like blue m3 was been squeezed by the red one and unfortunately you was going for the gap which got closed on you.
In hindsight which wonderful thing if gone right hand side you’d probably gone past both well was battling.
Aye?? Not sure how that ends up being your fault. You were making a move they obviously misjudged the gap or didn't know you were there in a panic as the leader moved over. The fact you can hear you put the anchors on says you went beyond what would be expected of you, a lot of people would just keep it flat until the point of impact at least you tried to take some evasive action.
I personally can’t disagree with the clerk on that decision imo
I can respect that 👍🏻
The fact that not everybody sides one way makes the clerks decision more palatable for me. I can personally see both sides. The main thing is its a shame to see damage on either car.
@@TeamPrawnRacingtotally agree, we don’t like to see any damage. It’s motor racing shit happens rebuild and go again 😊
Kinda agree with the clerk.
But you would have been at least alongside if you taken the hairpin better imho. Given your speed advantage maybe worth keeping your powder dry a little longer. 👍👍👍
If a driver ADMITS to knowing another car is alongside and parallel to a straight line wall why turn into trouble ??
Can respect that. Thanks for the input Stu. Will certainly consider the when / where and potential outcomes more in future.
What are you looking at when pointing the camera at yourself?
Very good question! I try to look at the lens, but often fail and catch myself looking at the screen instead.
Its a shame for both of you. Like Fernando Alonso said "All the time you have to leave the space" 🙈
I feel like you got the penalty/blame as you had the least damage. Very harsh!
I was thinking the same- if the other car hadn’t ended up riding the wall sideways, it wouldn’t have ended up with points.
Your nose was in and he turned into you knowing you was there. How you’ve come out with point’s now is really unfair but least the cars intact, and you went on to win the 2nd.
I agree with the Clerk but only because you weren't fully alongside. In theory you should have backed out but there is no racing driver on the planet who is going to lift when they have a sniff of an overtake for the race lead. I think points are a bit harsh though.
I think you are racing at Donington in October when we are, so I'll try and come over and meet you in person then #fanboy 😂
Appreciate the honesty mate. Hindsight is always 20:20, and I'd probably approach it differently now, but as you say there isn't a driver on the planet who won't at least want to try and make a pass for the lead when it seems on. Come say hello at Dony! What are you racing in?
@@TeamPrawnRacing we're in the Mini Challenge Clubsport. Wolftrax Racing, we're with Clubracing UK this year.
I'm usually just behind the spanners while Emma does the driving, but on the Sunday the Mini Challenge are doing a Roadsports style enduro race. Itching to get back behind the wheel.
Nicks wheel was level with the B pillar of the M3 - which probably puts Nicks front bumper level with the front of the passenger door.
Does that rule not only apply when you are about to turn into a corner, they were both on a straight.
@@chrisdohertyracing8572 quite possibly. If there was a car alongside however (on a straight) would you be happy if that car started moving across pushing you off the track to prevent a overtake?
i think that’s very unfair 🤦🏻♂️
🐌
WTF!!! that’s a BS call. There was a gap and you took it. Especially worse when the BMW driver knew you were there and choose to ignore you. Personally I’d say that’s his fault then.
Don’t get me started… 😡
I agree with the clerk of the course.
In my opinion your just barging your way through, the gap was diminishing and you kept your foot in .
Watching your following race craft of the weekend you don’t seem to have learned from your errors.
I felt we both had equal opportunity to avoid it, but the clerk decided against me as the overtaking car and we accepted that without appeal.
I don't really understand which aspects you're referring to in race 2, could you elaborate?
Id say race 2 was clean!
Nick had his front axle further forwards than the M3's rear axle (I've seen the damage pics). Therefore Nick had earned the right to the room, but I suspect it simply happened quicker than Kirk expected.
@graham1988 that's exactly how I feel about it 👍🏻
