Does anyone know why the Vauxhall Vectra's were left hand drive in 1996 and 1997, right hand drive in 1998 and 1999, then left hand drive again in 2000?
It just looked as if he completely missed his braking point, though. I mean, he shifted up when the car ahead started braking already. In the sprint race he tried to pin the blame on a puncture when he clearly over-corrected when the car started to slide. Not his best weekend, but it was far better for him to just admit he'd made a mistake; it happens to everyone in touring-car racing.
10:25 "Plato's gone off worse than a bag of Prawns in the Sun!" 😂
Production class making up the numbers sounded the death knell of STC. They were also a legacy of the next era.

Awesome to see this race again. Was there but was at Hawthorn and you could hear the crash with GT and JP. still scary 16 years on (how times flown)

This was the last BTCC meeting I went to. After Super Touring it wasn't quite the same...
Nothing has been as good as Supertourers!
And to think there were only 10/11 Supertourers left, just shows how good it was!
