Thank you for making this video! My great grandfather is Gene Rock, who was a guard for the Stags, #15. He is tied as the shortest pro basketballer to this day, and he became the captain of the LAPD after he left the league. He was an interesting guy and I have found little if any information or footage about how he played.
@Tidestrider mugsy bogues was 5'3 and could touch the rim. I'm sure your granddad was a scrappy player...you should be able to find his records in some online almanac
You do a BAA/NBA video and mispronounce Cousy. C’mon! So much for Chicago having the “World’s greatest fans.” But I guess having two NBA franchises fail in the city before the Bulls already proved that.
make one on the Baltimore marylands 1876 baseball team please
This was nice and educational, I want more videos about defunct teams and teams worst and best uniforms

Greatest individual season in Chicago basketball history statisics wise is not Michael Jordan. It is Walt Bellamy. Look it up.

Then watch the Zephyrs vid where I pronounce Cousy correctly then
I appreciate your growth, and your interest in old time hoops. This was more of a hatchet job on Ray Clay than anything else.
