Blood Awakening on Great Sword is Overpowered

I'm sad because I failed the end of the run.
This run is very frustrating because you depend 100% on getting lucky, reaching the HP cap, getting to skipe Primordial Malzeno's topple and getting the last phase to get a fast time.
I don't like having to get a 0.01% chance to have a good try.
If you get the topple and don't make it to the next phase, Malzeno makes many unnecessary patterns with the HP cap that add nothing to the fight and waste your time.

amatsu weapons have innate 10% damage boost to silkbind attacks. so, strongarm stance will get a 10% boost with amatsu GS.

Does the strongarm stance have hyper armor or what skill is that because you didn't get stagger or flew off by the second wing swipe

@@CrazyDiamond419late response but, if you haven’t figured it out by now, you can pretty significantly delay between the successful counter and going into the charge.
Activate the counter and release all buttons, take the first hit and then delay before pressing triangle to go into a charge. During the period between the counter getting activated and you activating the charge for the attack, you have hyper armour.
He takes the first hit to activate the counter, delays starting the charge to hyper armour the second and then presses triangle to go into and quickly charge the follow through.
Aside from that, he also has Rage Slash on one of his scrolls.
