Today I discovered Nils Frahm; Today was a good day
indeed for you..
Me paso lo mismo ...
Hell yeah! 🖤💫🛸
I discovered him today :))
This happened to me, just NOW.
This isn't a song. This a journey through the cosmos❤
Absolutely. Especially if you're soaring already
This song is holy. That's the only way I can put it. Every time I listen to it I get a message deep down from within my soul. From the universal consciousness, something calls me, something speaks. I believe a very deep spiritual message and power was speaking through Nils in this particular piece. There is NO OTHER piece of music I've ever heard that has this kind of power. Bless you, Nils. This is my meditation and a portal into God.
Perhaps one of the best ambient Electronica songs ever performed and recorded. The ending of this song is unparalleled, exquisite, ecstatic, alluring and hauntingly beautiful.

I love watching people describe their spiritual experiences with music. It's the real deal!!!!
Yes I’m listening to it over and over soaking in it and these comments..
It's not spiritual experience, its mental experience.
I get messed up and let the music take me away
Is anyone here from @Anti.Prophet?
Yes
Yh
It's amazing how our souls recognize this song somehow.
TOTALLY
that is because our souls recognize beauty
@@rminter44so true ❤
i dont recognise this song
What is this? how does this song not have billions of views? this is the most powerful sound can get, I never experienced anything like this and my mind is blown
Millions views is already cool, dont forget that views dont means quality, the most viewed music on youtube are not good «most of the time» (sorry for my bad english:/ )
Ive been in a very depressed state. This song made the rest of the day worth living
Hope you're doing better today! Eat a steak! 🥰
Hope things are going better for you, Andrew
Don't be depressed; be angry. Then direct the anger at the organisations that made you depressed. Works for me.
Nobody to blame but myself for not getting the help I needed sooner
Amen
Thanks anti.prophet for putting me on to this beauty

Sitting at London Gatwick airport on a moderately busy day. Headphones and listening to this whilst watching the world go by. Strangely euphoric!

wow. this is literally my favourite thing to do. anything erased tapes, brian eno, etc. all fantastique.
I love how the tension gradually builds and builds until the eventual chord change at 6:05. I get goosebumps every time.
I anticipate it every time I listen, and it never fails.
Side note, please make a piano tutorial for Garden of Words. Or anything by Kashiwa Daisuke.
i allways imagine sa flower that opens in all its beauty at 6:05. You wait for an eternity for something to happen. a great tune from the beginning but you know after a minute or so that there is something coming, it has to, IT MUST.
the anticipation and buildup is magnificent work as the promise that was never given but still was there. every single time it fills me with some kind of optimism and hope and i really ran the song a lot but never will get old
genius, although my wife hates it, that didnt make me love it even more but definitely made me play it a few times more on very loud on my old jbl ti 5000
you're right about 6-05 , MAGICAL

I don't know why I feel emotional. I just discovered this song and it feels like it struck something deep inside of me that I've been ignoring for years. I'll listen to this till the day I die
Like a nostalgia for something unfinished…..been there. It’s a sacred. Enjoy it.

How can be something so beautiful?
I have a terminal illness and also I have lost my soulmate 7 years ago...so life can be so hard and you just need to find a space to go into without words...but yet it uplifted the soul at the same time..I've had this on repeat for a while before leaving a comment.. I love all music ....but today I found something wonderful and shall be adding this to my funeral playlist..so when grief hits hard then anyone can just for a moment forget worries of death and suffering and just be taken on a journey that is peacefully blissfully amazing all at the same time..🦋🎶🌑☯️
Read the book Journey of Souls, it has such a profound depth (much like this masterpiece) to it that has helped myself and so many others in hard times. Lean into the light. Sending Love.

Nils ... Watafa ... Beyond this earth
I listen to this music when I'm Journaling or warming up with dance movement. It's so incredibly introspective and unlocks feelings hidden deep inside.
I do not know Nils Frahm. I however have been studying his music for about three weeks now. I will continue to do so because I firmly believe he is one of the best artists of our time. I believe it is derived from a passionate drive within him.
Last night I heard this live. There are no words to adequately follow this sentence.
If everyone understand such music, the world would be heaven
It is interesting how many of us feel connected to this song is some way, perhaps I’m wrong, yet anyone can interpret music differently ; I find it to be similar to the cycle of life, song start on a lower volume and just the same thing over and over and over it’s the pain we have to endure in life to finally reach the top/success. Once you do, you have a certain amount of time where you will enjoy it before one day life ends as the song suddenly stops, moral is that if your going there a hard time just have patience if you are patient enough and put in the work, then end will be as sweet as this masterpiece ending, have a blessed day guys and be strong 😄
The masked man sent me....😌
I have never had such a strong emotional reaction to a piece of music. The understated, lovely repetition of the majority of the song lulled me into a false sense of security, and then BAM!! I found myself tensed up, straining into my headphones, tears welling in my eyes, transported...somewhere. Somewhere strange and sad; euphoric, nostalgic; filling me with equal parts wonder and pity, resignation and joy; not knowing for what, or why.
There is such power in music; after all these years, I am still caught off guard at times.
Bravo.
You summed up all of my feelings exactly.
Starting at 6:03, am I right? It's pure magic.
@@marinawolf да-а-а-а это так!!!
Is there a version that goes on for 24 hours because that's how long i could listen to this for.

Im glad of being alive, being able to experience music like this!❤

This song puts me in such a strange mood. I don't know. It's like sadness, but also gives the feeling of the vast unknown. The most unique song I've ever heard.
That's exactly what I felt.
It gives me a feeling of exploring great frontiers. You leave behind all that you've known to find something new. Homesickness, but discovery. A noble pursuit. .
Hiraeth
This was the first song I've ever heard of him via KEXP's channel, and it blew me away. It, like you reminds me of a calm melancholy. Like you're alone in a capsule in space
it's not a" Song " .. it's music ya clown
To me this feels like the final moments of life, or of a life.
I swim high above the city I live in, I swim through high buildings watching people so small, I am small, the build up I swim higher, my arms not tired, the climax I reach heaven, I am free, humble and thankful. I love this music
I watched this in a darkened room, full-screen, late at night. So profound, I felt purified.

It's so damn refreshing to listen to this after so many years.
I lost touch with my son due to a dispute with his mother. Everytime the final Piano on this song sets in the tears roll down my face and little by little, help to heal my broken heart. Thank you Nils Frahm 🙏🏾
Hope the mother realises soon how important the relationship of a child with his father is, regardless of her relationship with you. Unless you are physically or emotionally abusive to him, you should be in his life. And one day when he's old enough, he might contact you. Good luck!
Sorry to read that. Being a father myself, I don't think I could live without my son. If that would nevertheless be bearable, knowing he is happy would be my first hope, and letting him know that I love him my second.
@@pdmptsjtsj689 that is very touching to hear, as a man in his young 20s who only ever wanted to hear that my father loved me.
Praying right beside you for a happy reunion, soonest...I know this grief, very well, ... Be wary of Parental Alienation... I found out late ... For me a reunion will take longer, keep your nose clean and use the court to adjust or enforce any order, keep a record of all the good, bad, and ugly events.
Thank you so much for your comments everyone. My son is now a young teenager and our relationship is starting to again resemble what we had before all this happened. He is coming to visit me for holidays soon :) and I am
Overjoyed! ❤️ (just to be clear, I was never abusive of him or his mother: our dispute started when he asked to spend more time with me and had to try to enforce this in court, after we could not come to an agreement for him to spend one extra day a week with me. The mind boggles. Very sad but I try to focus on the future…)

It’s okay that mere words cannot express the vastness of God because this music does it for us.

The first time I listened to this music was when I watched the premiere of Ad Astra, and then I finished and driven home by myself, it was before daybreak. The car was kept at the maximum volume, and the speed was 110/h on high speed, and it was deep dark at night. There is no car or street light on a section of the road. The part of timeline 5:00 and 5:18’s pictures were exactly what i pictured in my mind at that day when driven home alone with this music. You also know that after 7:00, with the feeling of speeding speed, it is so cool to be alone on the road at night!
I’d love to listen to this kind of background music, the fantasy images in my mind, this is first time that I saw the vision version of this music, I’d like to say it really a visualized music just like this video made. This video is really awesome and pictured every detail!!!
And in my mind some part are not the same, like
The picture at 6:06 would be a ring wave expansion, like normal forward visualization,
The picture at 7:07 would be changed to a ring wave retracting inward, like backward visualization,
The picture at 7:19, with the former wave collapsed at a point and then the scene blasted off.
I don’t know what do you this of that? I just thought that is so cool there’s someone would make an incredible visualized video of some like Ambient music(idk If there’s a kind of type name)
And thanks again for making this.
Hi scholars of the future. This is 2021 and we still have corona, we still didn’t find a cure for cancer and having an electric car is still a bit of a luxury in pretty much every country on earth. But we get by listening to music like this. Have a nice life. Greetings from the past.

This song should be played when we travel faster than light
beautiful words..
I think we already are
Undisputed raw talent in a class of its own, yet it's interesting to hear Nils talk about this piece as one of his less technical and personally underwhelming tracks. He may be being humble but I think for most people this track represents his most accessible piece, serving as a crucial gateway to his imitable back catalogue. If you're starting your journey with Mr Frahm here, please know you're only scratching the surface and have so many more treasures awaiting you as I implore you to dive deeper into his majestic world of brilliance. I write this with immense envy, as the man can only be discovered once. Love and peace to you all.
Can you suggest more songs of his so i can dive deeper :) ?
It’s seems often to be the case that composers, or artists of any kind, can somehow fail to recognise the true value or impact of their own work. Perhaps they become too absorbed in what they perceive to be the work’s deficiencies. As a painter I understand this only too well! However, once that work, be it technically deficient or not, is let loose into the world, it is free to do the work for which it was intended, and to reach the ears and eyes of those destined to hear it or see it. Then it may prove to be far greater for those individuals than it’s creator could ever have imagined possible!
Who else cause of anti prophet

That track is designed to provoke an emotional reaction. It's pure engeneered genius. Everyone I I've got to listen was affected by it. Sometimes it's tears of joy or feelings if hope. The realisation that beauty is powerful and will redeem us.

This is just mind blowing. I barely ever leave a comment but this time I just couldn't help myself. It is unbelievable what Nils Frahm did here.
