I had an E400d All Terrain, an E350d and a GLC 400d with the inline 6-cylinder Diesel Engine. All three were fantastic cars with a nice powertrain.
But now I have an E450 with the I6 gasoline Engine and it is a bit better in my opinion. So smooth and powerful. Of course the consumption is a bit higher, but not that much as you would expect.

@@rodanakgul8984 yes it leads to lower fuel consumption because the engine has to produce more torque in longer gears to reach the needed power and diesel engines run most efficient at a high torque level. And its impressive because it shows the enormous torque of the car, it dont even needs to rev high to run 250kmh

It's really absurd how bad is quality of the trunk, there is not a plastic protection on the gooseneck levers cuts in the upholstery (forgive my English please) and also quality of that upholstery is really cheap.and it's like this since many years, I had a w211 and now a w212.but at least in the 211 there was a plastic cover for those cuts....anyway great car, and great engine, it's sad that it's no longer available in Europe in saloon version....

So ein E 400 is schon geschmeidig. Geräuschkulisse auch bei über 200km/h immer noch TOP. Der Tank ist mit 50L schon klein, da könnte auch ein 80L Tank rein. Vielleicht ist auch ein großer Tank wegen 4-Matic nicht möglich.

You have 800-1000 km range at speeds legal in Europe on highway. Even at 180 200 kmh which is legal only in Germany you still have 500 600 km range. What do you need more? Who is driving daily over 500 km?

Hell, let's just throw even more stuff on a car it doesn't need making it heavier, worse to drive, and waste even more resources we can't get hold of right now so you can go 1200km instead of 1000km on one tank... Yeah there's literally no good reason for it to be bigger as standard as it'll be enough for 99.999% of people
