- Old, weak, and helpless, the long retired Doctor Samuel Loomis laments the inevitable return of his former patient, Michael Myers. In the middle of summer, one would not expect The Shape to strike again. What will come of his newest target, the young grand-niece of Dr. Loomis, who unavoidably falls into his gaze?

Sorry chaps, Dr Loomis just doesn't cut it. Young actor playing a character that looks young but talks old. Sounds like dialogue from an HP Lovecraft book. A great, great effort - I love Halloween and F13th fan films but this particular one doesn't drag me in.

Oh and making a film takes while there is lot of effort put into the films production cus you had a poor Loomis representation doesn't mean the film overall is not good
@@dominicstclairstudios6324 I'm sure you're right it's just that not knowing the kind of quality to expect, having a 'jolting' interpretation of Loomis doesn't bode well. I will definitely watch the film based on the comments to my post. And no offence to the actor playing Loomis, it's simply the match up I thought was wrong.

I liked Michael’s quickness. The effects from the kills were pretty good as well. I would like to see a sequel.

The scene where the family comes to the party was pretty realistic, and I like how you added hunters moon in it
Also I loved the kill where Michael puts the girls face into the pot, it’s literally such a good reference to Halloween 2
I think that was our favorite kill too! Worked out really well. Hunters Moon was one of the easiest music choices probably. Thanks for watching :)

I really like this fan film I think you did a great job and I like that you made it not take place on Halloween nice touch there I was always interested and still am to see a Michael Myers movie that doesnt take place on Halloween

@@logangreene7269 very good question. We obviously feature Dr. Loomis who would be long dead by 2022, but they use cell phones in the movie. Let's say, modern era.
Better than I could do, but thought it was weird that you had someone play Loomis that didn’t look like him and then showed a news article of the real Loomis.

I know it is a fan film, but the mask is off, Michael looked like he didnt weigh but about 150 lbs. I could go into other things but I know youll improve the more you do it. I was impressed with the girl who in the hot stove water though. She was the best actress of them all, and she looked eerily like Annie in 78.
Thanks for your feedback :) We make these films as a hobby, and each one of us is slowly honing our skills in doing our part. That said, UA-cam is an afterthought for our projects, and we don't plan to submit them for any academy awards. Again, thanks for your feedback.
Btw, I'd put our Michael at about 165 😜 he hasn't had much luck getting a hot meal since Smiths Grove. The occasional dog maybe.
Okay so I dig your attempt at the Michael. The camera quality ruined it for me. I get you were trying for the like early 2000s last attempt at VHS. I feel a cinematic filter would have helped. I felt like I was watching off a mid quality webcam . Other wise audio, cinematography and everything was on point. I’m interested in seeing your future stuff. How about a scream movie attempt next?
Hey Bill. Thanks for the feedback. These projects are 100% for the pleasure of us all working together and creating. We do not invest in high quality filming material, and we do not make any profits from these projects in order to upgrade. We just have our little camcorder and a lot of love. That said, our camera woman/editor is dynamite with making a production like this in spite of the lack of expensive equipment. We do appreciate you watching and letting us know your feelings!
Are we getting a sequel because this deserves a sequel
We believe there could be more of this story to tell. We are just unsure whether or not we are going to tell it. We do appreciate your confidence in our work 😀
Did you guys film this in spring?
We had two different filming periods. The Florida bit was filmed in March (does south Florida have spring?), and the rest was filmed in August of last year. Im sure the Shape would have preferred filming in cooler weather!

Ok, Loomis wouldn't be sporting that type of hairstyle, 2nd this guy is too young to be playing Loomis let alone trying to sound old the guy playing his nurse should've played Loomis & the guy playing Loomis should be the nurse.

You know with all the UA-cam tutorials out there and the cheap lights, and cheap cameras you can buy to pull off a short film, but you guys keep making bad quality films. I can’t watch this. And I feel like nobody is trying. This quality is unacceptable at this time. Hope you guys make a splash. Why isn’t the older guy playing loomis?

We did check out your channel to see your films and look for the quality difference, but there weren't any. Likewise, we don't comment on videos that we 'can't watch,' so you won't find any feedback from us on them.
