OH! ALSO... when you want to accentuate a pattern by hammering the flats or bevels... after you do one side, grind that side flat before you hammer the other side. That way you won't wash out the first side when you hit the other.
Well unfortunately the UA-cam algorithm just doesn’t pick me up no matter how much work i put in. Obviously people watching commenting and sharing helps but yeh im relegated to the low view channels
Honestly, I’ve been watching knife making videos for 10 years and have made lots of knives myself and this video was one of the most helpful I’ve watched. So thank you!
That's a really neat design. The handle scales turned out lovely, and the angles were smexy as heck! Always nice to hear a bit about your process, too.
Off your f**king Head 😂 I had to watch twice because I was laughing so much - I’ve got a head ache now! Some great little gizits there from your process. I really respect you as another maker 👌🏻🏴🍺
I was more than entertained, because you suggested a great way to cool my Evenheat down to tempering temp. Many thanks, I wouldn't have thought of that, and I'd rather use the Evenheat than a toaster oven!
As a kydex bender myself idk why I never though to rivet my pieces together before heating.. what a brilliant idea to keep them from moving around when going into the press.
Hiya pal, it's been a while, hope you're doing ok? I was wondering if you'd do an actual blacksmithing project again? It feels like it has been ages since you did one - I think back to when I came to your house/old workshop and gave it a go (massive fail and burned hand lol) - I really enjoyed it and would love to see you do something again if you can mate? Cheers bud, Steve xxx
He reckons he only "takes" 30 seconds, he's starting to brag now. Lovely work, love the colours and the blade. Good tip on the epoxy, leaving the cup with a stick in it to see if it cured properly, i do the same thing with my composite epoxy boat builds. I've seen some real messes where they didn't mix the correct amounts and had to get it off a small boat hull, days of torturous work and lost money in epoxy
I would pay $1000. To have a personalized one made... $1,500 I'm sorry I wish I was actually asking for real. I'm just curious as to how close I am in price.
Want to see more educational builds like this or should i just keep quiet?
More please!

Much prefer this style.
I must have missed it though when you said what the handle material is.
I prefer less talking personally and that's with all knife making videos, plus if people have a question they'll comment giving you more engagement...
But the better question is is have you made Deadpool swords yet?
utterly unhinged, utterly educational - 10/10 would recommend
Will never understand why this guy doesn’t get more traffic. The builds are awesome! The personality is just extra gravy 😂
Well unfortunately the UA-cam algorithm just doesn’t pick me up no matter how much work i put in.

Awesome knife build and great f-ing video, 😂
Did you buy the Damascus billet or did you forge it?
First I have seen this guy. Reminds me of the style of humor Bobby Duke has. Sorra. I wonder if a collab would work.
Are you in Scotland?

Tomato Turns into Strawberry. Makes sense in this world.

Sooo no distal taper? Ok, good luck with that. Might need some more education before making these "educational builds"
😂😂 imagine writing a comment trying to act like you know about something but getting it totally wrong so it shows how little you actually know.
