1. Including Jaws as a villian to use the Bat-Shark Repellent
2. The inclusion of "You complete me". it is a reference to the Joker's line in "The Dark Knight".
You complete me is also a reference to the movie batman was watching if you think about it. In the movie it's all like "you complete me" and the girl said " you had me at hello". But when it was between batman and joker it was like "you complete me" and joker said "you had me at shut up".
It's a pretty nice easter egg if you ship BatJokes :)

Yeah it's a great satire movie that I enjoyed, it's a nice break from the entire edge lord thing which was going on previously.
The thing about Bats acting like a toddler is because he's a dude with more money than he can spend who's parents died when he was young. It's borderline realistic if you think about it.

There is a mistake here in thinking that this movie is not part of the Lego Universe. The entire plot of Gotham sitting on a thin plate above 2 columns with only abyss in the center, is referencing the fact that they're on a table top. That's why they can make references to every version of Batman and all those other non-DC characters can fit into the story. There are a few other moments that show the Lego-iness of the world, like at the end when they take off hair and connect heads together, or when Batman teaches Robin to be a "Master-Builder". They're subtle but they're there.
Literally no one has said this isn't part of the Lego universe...... what are you going on about?

(The French dub for theaters was pretty basic, they kept the name "Dick', and since most frenchies speak some English (first foreign language taught in school, with usually either Spanish & German as secondary language), or at least know what dick means, so it kinda worked I guess. My audience was weird.

A lot of these sins are because this movie is a part of the Lego cinematic universe. And, according to this universe (spoilers ahead):
This is the product of a child (and maybe eventually farther)'s imagination. Making all of these references would bee because the father probably knows them. Batman being celebrated as a hero might be because the child wanted it that way.

this had a lot more sins removed than over movies, but really modern LEGO movies are amazing, so I'm not that supprised.

In case you haven't realized it, I'm being facetious. I know you're probably half-joking with your comment, but this kind of "straddling the line" stuff really irks me. You're playing it too safe; either you reply against all the people that strongly disagree with a "Calm down, guys, it was just a joke" or you reply to all the people backing you up, affirming vindication.
Either way, I hate it. Some asshole made a comment on one of the new Blade Runner clips -featuring Dave Bautista about "Anyone else hoping this was going to be a Drax origin story?" and when the collective UA-cam community called him out for making such a goddamn stupid comment, he just fired back with that classic "Jeez, calm down, it was just a joke!"
Let's be perfectly clear: a joke is only a joke if it's funny, and a comment is a comment... what he said was the latter, trying to be played off as the former, because he was embarrassed. Saying that a clip from Blade Runner (2017) could be a Drax origin story isn't funny... it's just stupid. Saying that this video deserves +100 sins for not casting a person known for ONE specific thing (on UA-cam) over an actor who
a) played THE SAME CHARACTER in the previous LEGO movie (and did a fantastic job)
