Piss on all that internal cable routing, I wouldn't dream of that. The best part in the video was seeing the packaging for the Campy levers. Easy recyclable products good for the environment. Unlike SRAM and their packaging for the groups that probably add a couple hundred dollars to purchase. You are a top notch builder IMO and enjoyed I watching this video.

I built myself a gravel/adventure bike in lockdown Jan 2021 with Campag Ekar & Shamal rims on a Mason Bokeh frame - love it.
Nice versatile bike, good for both medium fast road and at the same time great for those super steep climbs. Great build!

What’s the advantage of 1x13 Eckar vs a 2x12 Chorus or Record Campy set . The C64 is a road bike. Eckar is more a gravel group set

This will be my next build using Ekar, with the gear line bend at the stem and with housing all the way to the rear derailleur, any problem with the shifting? If no then I’ll follow your method. Awesome

When the steer tube is cut how was the metal insert prepped for the next step? I take it that the metal insert is for securing the top cap yes?

No cable in the front but that big retro loop at the rear derailleur…nonsense…
The rear cable length is appropriate for smooth precise shifting. A shorter cable length puts force on the index and can promote poor shifts. A good bike builder knows this.
1 by system at 7,5kg seems like a waste. But a biased Rim brake lover.
