Also, its hard to trust her "after" picture since its clearly photoshoped. Madonna is known for heavily retouching her pics. I would trust it more if it was from a photographer in an event.

She looked great a few days ago during her concert at the O2 arena! She doesn't look 25, but she looks like herself at least :)
No, I have seen recent videos of her performing in her concert-she looked amazing and just like what you have seen in these pictures. Since she had been quite sick a few weeks ago chances are that she was on steroids to combat the inflammation in her body. Steroids can cause a moon face and weight gain.
@@arymhansie Prednison could certainly do that but that's some really serious medication. Though ity also doesn't give you a sharp jawline afterwards so I think it's more likely a lot of fillers were dissolved.

I have a friend who is on Ozempic for her life threatening diabetes. Recently she has been having a hard time filling her full three month prescription because pharmacies have to ration them because celebrities want to be even skinnier than they are. It’s disgusting

Not even celebrities. Some doctors prescribe them verry fast for anyone who wants to loose weight. I get doctors prescribing them to help obese people who are also on a diet and excercise plan, ozempic can speed up the weight loss. The problem is that a lot off people get them prescribed because they see them as an easy fix. I know people who are overweight (not even obese) and who claim to their doctors they did everything to loose weight. Yet I know they don't exercise and see them eating pastries and candy a lot. Then they get the ozempic and will even eat more candy as ' the injection will compensate it'.
It's sickening that they are taking away medecine off those that actually need it. Also ozempic isn't without risks and you shouldn't take it if it's not for a mecical reason but even that won't stop certain people from taking it.
It is disgusting. Those who stop taking it are having health problems now. That's their Karma for being so selfish.
We had the same problem here in Germany.
I had to wait two months before I got my Ozempic.
People don't mind that there are uncountable people who really need it and they don't think about that people could get real bad health issues...

If she canceled concerts for illness, she could have been on steroids = puffiness. Stopping steroids, plus having a partial face-lift, could = slimmer face.
I don´t know, may not, cuz she was so weak that she in first week was hospitalized and when she go to home, She herself said that she was close to death and that she didn't think she would survive
I was wondering about steroids as well, especially if she was having joint issues. I think she looks fantastic now. She's beautiful.
I was on a course of strong steroids when I had my driver’s license pic taken. I definitely had a puffy “moon face”. It’s the worst DL pic I’ve ever taken. 😂

I’m almost sure when her face looked like that, pillow face was a popular thing. But I guess now everyone is suggesting it’s something else. I don’t recall her denying any work, don’t think she readily admitted to it (that’s between her and her doc really), but at least she never denied it (I don’t think). So I guess that’s something. She looks nothing like herself though, not sure why people keep saying this. For me she looks like a brat doll 🤔 (not saying that’s bad or good, just saying what I see). Best

My theory is that her bacterial infection was caused by her cheeks or butt surgery and she’s had both removed or reduced .

Exactly. I wonder why I haven't seen this mentioned elsewhere. She had a fat transfer/facelift or something similar and went to the Grammies _on purpose_ looking swollen. Now her face has settled and anyone can see live recordings from this week of her first concerts and she looks like she did in 2008.
She looks good and I know she's very happy about that because she does not like people laughing at her. None of us do, so good for her that she's got her looks back.

She looked like she was on oral cortisone. Also she has dissolved some fillers. There are also great unfiltered photos. Also she has NOT have done buccal fat removal.She has had facelift(s) longer time ago. Cheers from a cosmetic surgery consultant from Finland.
I was thinking that the puffiness could be from a medicine or illness. Prednisone does that to some people.
Yeah to my eyes its cortisone and the large cargo pants she wore because of knee pad, all surgery and pt related.

We shouldn't expect anything less from a star of her caliber, especially with her persona - but on that same note there is also Pamela Anderson, I think she's of a very high caliber, of course she's not a musician but she definitely is an A lister in her own right🎉 she's been glowing lately while flaunting her now (mostly) naturally aged beauty, and I'm really here for it!

oh thank gawd!! She looks fabulous!! I agree that it was a LOT of ageism & sexism that fuelled the critique. That being said, the 'before' was significantly different to her usual face. Rupert Evert got huge backlash too, when his surgery didn't exactly go well either... so yeah.
It's hard for her to argue ageism and misogyne when she's holding herself to these ridiculous standards and doing this to herself. If she's anti-ageism and anti-misogyne, she wouldn't be putting herself through this.

Could she also have been on corticosteroids around the VMA’s which can cause extreme facial enlargement as a side effect? Have an immunological or inflammatory process going on prior? Could explain some of the tour dates being cancelled also? (Not saying she didn’t have any work done, but I don’t think she would have gone out looking like that if she could have avoided it given her past history of trendsetting

I thought the same, the buccal fat removal, but when you look back her 00’s pics, she always had hollowed cheek 🤷🏻 So Im not too sure if it was surgery or simply dissolve fillers in those areas

Part of it was ageism the way they were mocking her. It was sad to see. It wasn't just her face being puffy but bad hair and makeup.

Fillers and maybe some hormones that caused water retention in the first case. Face lift and a more strict diet in the second.

While I agree women of any age should be able to make adjustments to their appearance, I just wish they’d own up to it. I think it’s hard to separate what you want for yourself and what you’re doing for others - especially for a celebrity. She’s beautiful and talented no matter what, but how cool would it have been for her to have been like “Yeah I’m having work done and I’m going to look better than all my haters!” 💋😊

Now she looks like a carbon copy of everyone else who had plastic surgery. Perhaps even like a brat doll. But I suppose if I had her kind of money I would prob do a bit of work too.

I think she just dissolved/removed all her fillers and got a facelift. The botox in the jaw thing needs time in order to actually show results. Muscles do not atrophy so much only for a month or two even if paralysed with botox.
She was probably working straight after the face lift. It’s looking good now it’s settled.
So many celebrities are not happy with their looks and have some serious issues with it to undergo drastic surgery. You can age beautifully naturally. Wish they would get that.

My first thought was that she was ill and was probably on steroidal anti-inflammatories. I was on a 6 week course of pred a couple years back because of my autoimmune disease. I was pretty much a twig, but my face puffed up like a balloon. 🤷🏽♀️

Some type of cosmetic surgery. No way are you going to convince me she gained a bunch of weight. I have been keeping tabs on her since the 1980's and her fitness regimen is 2nd to none. Since 'Like a Virgin' and 'Like a Prayer" she has been telling the world she does not care if you judge her or if you approve of what she chooses to do. Kudos! Go Girl!

Can you talk more about Botox in the masseter muscles please? Specifically I am interested in it for helping with bruxism. I have read some horror stories of fscial drooping, numbness etc. and so I want to know what I should be asking a provider before this type of procedure. Many if the providers don't seem to be doctors, which worries me.
