Such a chill video Brittany. I hope Donovan gets to spend his last days just relaxing and enjoying the sunshine too. Apart from that unpleasant incident you had in a public park, I really hope you've felt safe and welcome in NZ 🙂
Thank you! We definitely felt very welcome over the past year. We've met some incredible people, in real life and online too! Thanks for continuing to watch and support our channels 😃
Great video, Brittany👍👌 It must be tough for you both to leave such a beautiful place like Nelson.🥺 The surroundings are truly amazing. We'll miss your vlogs showcasing this stunning country💕. Enjoy your remaining days there. Stay safe, and sending lots of love to both of you!💖
Thank you so much! It is indeed bittersweet but what an adventure it has been!! We are so lucky to have experienced this and settling in Nelson was the best decision. We can't wait to come back and visit!! ☺
Thanks for your nz content. A lot of your videography was stunning. And I will be going back to re-watch my favs from the last year or so👍 ? I will be looking forward to your Aussie and Canadian content:)
I started following you when our immigration journey began, we landed on 21 March and live close to Nelson and now that we are here your journey ends it is indeed bittersweet, thank you for all the wonderfull videos and information,
That Pizza looked really good lol also it's crazy to see how fast those jets were moving compared to the older planes, it was fun watching the scenic walks and seeing all the different things you guys got up to in your last couple of weeks in NZ I'm looking forward to the Wellington Vlog as well as your future videos in Australia and Canada.
It was really delicious, apricot on pizza, who knew?!? Thanks for being such a great supporter of the channel and for all your kind comments. Looking forward to sharing the upcoming adventure we are about to embark on! 🥰
@@brittanymorgan09 No problem I genuinely enjoy watching your content it takes my stress away lol, really looking forward to seeing all your new stuff.
Thank you for all the great content! I’ve been in New Zealand for the past two months, and your videos have been a great guide myself! Enjoy the rest of your trip!!!
Not many people know this, but lemurs and meerkats are native to New Zealand. Walt Disney brought them to Madagascar and Namibia, respectively just to make movies.
Not gonna lie. Selfishly, I'm disappointed to see you two heading back to Canada. This channel has been pumping the nostalgia into me for the last several months as my one year in New Zealand was arguably the most memorable year of my life. It's nice seeing fellow Canadians with similar perspectives enjoy the same experiences. I went in my early 20s so I'm assuming you both have more responsibilities actually tieing you to Canada than I did at the time but if I may ask was there any major factors in deciding to not do year 2 of the WHV? Personally I elected not to because I needed to finish the final block of training for my trade in Alberta. Having worked in Alberta for years prior to my NZ stay the $$$ was also a deciding factor but looking back the experience of year two would have outweighed that. I actually had money saved to return and do WHV in Australia for 1-2yrs but got offered a job I couldnt turn down in my home province of NS. Im setup pretty well for someone my age but not getting to spend more time in that part of the world really does eat away at me LOL.
Thanks for watching and commenting through all of our adventures! Though this chapter comes to a close, I know we will be back to see things we missed and visit friends. The main reason for me wanting to go back to Canada is family reasons and my aging pet who's been with my brother since we moved. It would have been a difficult time financially for us to stay here another year as well but that wasn't the deciding factor. I truly just miss being "home" and NZ never really felt that way to me. It' never too late for a trip back eh!!
@@bdub884 I think for long term living, I would have picked Christchurch since it has a bigger airport and is a great base for the south island. Nelson would make a perfect retirement spot though!
Another pearler Brittany - thank you
I had to lookup pearler haha, thank you so much!!
