    I’ve wanted a dirt bike my whole life. I’m 32, and finally got my very first bike. I ended up getting a brand new SSR 189, and it’s perfect for me as a beginner. I can’t get off the thing. It’s so damn fun

    I’m old. 46. Grabbed an ssr 125cc to ride with my 7yr old on his 50cc. I wanted a small bike so I’m not way out in front of him when we ride. And to be honest once I upgraded the front and rear shock this little bike is beyond fun. I honestly have more fun on this than my kx 250. Because it’s so small the technical sections of trails are totally different. And I am able to have fun in areas I normally wouldn’t even hang out. I cut a small loop in the woods behind my family’s farm and my son and I have a blast. If I was on a full size bike I would t even be able to do the loop. Maybe first gear.
    So I guess my summary is: even if you’re old, tall, heavier (I’m 180lbs) these bikes are an absolute blast to ride! And the best part is you don’t need a massive area to enjoy them. You can make a loop that’s fun even on a half acre. So if your looking for a Dirtbike but don’t have a lot of space and money. These are the best option. And that’s not even mentioning how cheap and fun it is to pimp it out and fix it. And loading and unloading them is sweet. Super small and light compared to a 125/250 full size.

      @ hell yeah. I have an ssr I just Daytona swapped. And got basically all the bbr upgrades I could aside from the front end. There’s a limit to what I want into this crappy frame. Lol. But she’s a ripper. I took it to a DB only trail system and was riding with a bunch of dudes on big ass enduros and they came over after and we’re like Jesus Christ you fly on that thing. Lmao. Something about chucking a pit bike at high speed through single track it epic! It’s like a Bmx bike without all the huffin and puffin. So fun. Some technical sections I’ll just hammer and launch over most of it. So funny. And when you do dump it it’s not as expensive and painful. 😂

    a klx110 with a 143cc big bore kit and a 55mm stroker crank = 155cc. The 55mm crank adds 12cc to the over all combination. If you have a 178cc big bore kit and a 55mm crank it will be a 190cc engine.

      JinglePoops so the ssr you can get brand new for the price of a used klx110. If you go back and watch some of my other ssr videos you can see how hard I ride it and the only time I broke stuff is when I crashed pretty hard on it. And ssr parts are super cheap and really easy to fix so is kinda a plus. But on the other hand klx110 are definitely more reliable and can find a decent used one for around $1200 and will be perfectly fine but when parts do brake on it, it’s going to be a little more expense to repair.

    • @gzmoto9937
      @gzmoto9937  6 років тому

      dylan dewalt it will but you want to do some adjustments like throw a plug in the front forks and a heavier weight fork oil which is easy to do. Then maybe an upgrade in the rear shock and it should be pretty solid. I have only done the front forks so far and I'm 6 foot tall and 200 pounds and I jump it and wheelie it all the time. But I noticed I neear a strong rear suspension and I think my bike will be golden.

    i know man i have the same 125cc. Average guy: That thing is a garbage slow af, i better get a bigger bike. Tuner: i will show you what mine can do

    • @chovansatiroen4264
      @chovansatiroen4264 6 років тому +1

      125 is so cheap to tune. Since i don't have extra cash for a bigger bike, i tuned mine to push the limit. My top speed is 75mph. i don't hold trottle too long at such high speed, because chinese engine can break that way. Some tips what i did to mine...1 race cam shaft, 2 port & polish head,intake manifold and carb, 3 26mm carb (jetting may differ for everyone) 4 16-36 on 17inch rear wheel, 5 Iridium spark plug 6 bigger exhaust pipe 1 or 2mm more flow 7 my bodyweight is 134Lbs

    ive had mine for about two weeks but because of weather ive only got to ride it twice not counting like the break in period cuz i only went half throttle and stayed on the street anyways the first ride my shit got muddy as fuck so i took the air filter off to clean it and the air filter fell apart into several pieces im hopping none of them got in my carb i ended up buying a uni. my second ride my chain snapped also the bike came with the front break in the wrong position and the bolt to put it in the right position was extremely hard to get out tires are already wearing down too so not a great first impression but i do have to say its quicker than i thought and im already having neighbors call the cops because it is way louder than you would think.

    Whats up man. Im about to buy a coolster 125cc 2017 for 400$. Is that a deal? How fast will it go, is it street legal. Where can i NOT ride it

    • @gzmoto9937
      @gzmoto9937  6 років тому

      Is it your first bike? And do you consider yourself a beginner? If it’s taken care of 400 is pretty good deal for it and I don’t believe they are street legal. You can ride it at any track just about and and open property your allowed on.
