Honestly, when l saw the warning for the first time, they got me because the talent of this girl was incredible, l couldn't believe watching her the way she played atlas rise. She is maximum authority.
For my money, it's Disciple where she's singing through the fill at the end of the second verse, best seen on the Teatro video. Honorable mention: the acoustic Sinister Smiles fill on a drum pad.
You really can't expect anything less from Paulina❤❤❤ PS, Excuse my language but she is a bad-ass drummer, When she sets down behind her Drum Kit She looks like she's just put on a comfortable pair of shoes⚡️⚡️⚡️💙💙💙
As much as Pau is channeling John Bonham, Neil Peart, and Ginger Baker in these clips, she is equally adept at lyrically channeling Paul Simon on her acoustic pieces such as "Black Holes".
In general XXI Century Blood has the best drums work of the three albuns, in tracks like Wildfire, When I'm Alone and Survive, but the intro of Z and the song as a whole has something very special, it's really difficult picking the best lol.
actually it's very different. She plays completely different fills from Taylor in this, using blindingly fast triplets and alternating offbeats, and as Taylor was a huge influence on her, and The Warning opened for the Foo Fighters at the Foo's final concert before Taylor died, it's obviously a huge tribute to the band, even though she wrote the drum parts several years before that (it was on The Warning's first album, I mean, so obviously strongly influenced by "Best of You" but before they opened for them, I mean). Taylor was the one who complimented The Warning after their performance... and that was then the end of him. But anyway, to be accurate, her drum fills are entirely different from his after the first one that is similar.
@@brentcollins9727 lol I wouldn’t word it that way because both songs showcased the similarities and differences of each drummer. Totally it makes the listener think of the late great foo drummer while watching this next generation genius from The Warning shine. I get your point there… and certainly that’s a huge compliment to her playing.
Si no son reconocidas totalmente como se merecen en el mundo del rock (controlado por la cultura anglosajona, tan machista y etnocéntrica) es por 2 razones muy evidentes: Son mujeres y además mexicanas.
Maybe on a corporate level, but just look at their fan base- old, young, male, female, the number of reaction videos, fans worldwide, multiple awards, multiple acclaims from professional musicians and organizations... they are well recognized and growing. Please don't lump all white males together with the corporate music industry (that don't take rock seriously anymore anyway).

I love her drum fills in Evolve. She's one of those drummers like Dave Grohl, that are just really fun to watch.

I see "The Warning" and I click.
Same here!😊
Gran selección de momentazos de Pau reventando la batería, es una fenómeno.
Now u need a video with all Pau's Drums Broken! Jejeje or trying broken it!
You really can't expect anything less from Paulina❤❤❤

Simply great. Pau reminds me on legendary drummers like Keith Moon, John Bonham or Dave Grool. Awesome
But its Neil Peart was her greatest inspiration
Stalker: I love how they show the portion where she broke a stick and was grabbing a new one.

She needs more credit from the rock world ..she is an absolute beast on drums ..I mean John Bonham of zeppelin would be proud
Z, Amour, Dust To Dust, Narcisista, Survive, Hell You Call A Dream are some of my fav drum parts she's done
Sinister smiles

Me parece un insulto que no haya aparecido dull knives el cual pense estaria en el primer lugar
She's a hammer for sure!
She's a lumberjack cutting all those drum sticks to shreds 😅
The final of "Dull knives" is missing ;)
If I did a Top 10, I would've included it.
Thought I’d see “Survive”, from TedX - LOL
For real!
Let’s see these other great drummers do great singing..then we can compare

The end of Unmendable is an EXACT copy of the end of “Best of You” by Foo Fighters. Especially how he/she slows it down and speeds it up.

@@don-music, absolutely. Very well said.
No such thing as top anything if you don't include Dust to Dust.
