Yeah but makes sense for what it is. 450's are 10k or so. Comparing that to the price of other ev's, 15k really isn't that bad. It's 20 more hp then any 450, and battery's are expensive as hell, not to mention the carbon fibre frame. Some companies charge 10k just for a carbon hood for a car.

One thing you can do is put it in 10hp and apply light throttle to load up in your truck while using a ramp. That’s what I do.

I really don’t like the phone as the gage system. I prefer a tiny egg rider or just nothing. A physical mode selection button would be cooler
