Who guessed Hoyt? Excited to hunt with this thing. Thanks for hanging out. OH, broadhead tuning coming in hot next week it’s that time of year friends 🏹🏹
I beleive you would have chosen Hoyt long ago if you weren’t biased when on elk fit with Dan🤷♂️
Love new bows. Honestly love watching other people live my dream
I like it man, I shoot a Ventum Pro 33 and love the feel love the VTM battle worn finish
Definitely, had a feeling you went Hoyt. Basically have the same setup I have for this year other than I have the 31. All same components. I will say you should be extremely happy, as It has been an amazing bow for me this year. The Rip TKOs have been bullets for me and super accurate. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have. Getting a new set of ABB strings in the next few weeks as well. Keep up the great content!
I was guessing Bowtech SS34. But that battle worn from Hoyt is hot!
I just shot Joel from whitetail fits vtm 82lbs and that hbx pro cam felt like 70. Crazy nice cam system
Joel seems like a good egg! Haven't met him yet
Tim has gone to the dark side. It’s ok, the force will be with you, always.
✊✊
😆
Going back to Hoyt from Pse. Went with the VTM 34 also. Great bow, quiet fast, and very solid!!!! Tim, you are gonna like a Hoyt!!
Right on!
Just picked up a VTM myself. First new bow in 15 year. I'm loving it so far. Love the content. I look forward to the video drops on Monday as well as the podcast. Keep it up!
I have to say the side bar mount is my favorite part of my Hoyt. Also I can put my front stabilizer super low with that extra mounting option
Excellent choice! Can't wait to see you get it bloody! Appreciate the fact that you always "shoot straight" with us! 👊🏹
Thanks dude !
Love Hoyts. Quiet, accurate, fast, reliable. Great choice!
Sneaky quiet
No matter how good the pics and videos you post of that bow …. It cannot do justice to how it looks in real life . Wow!!!! This bow !!!
Can't wait to see you put more arrows down range and see what you say about the hoyt. I know I love mine but haven't thoroughly tried as many as you.
I went with a VTM 31 this year. Never really cared for Hoyt after having a Faktor several years ago I couldn’t get along with. That new cam system is money and Josh Jones is correct on how it feels like it’s drawing less weight. Balances well and looking forward to getting a few whitetail here in LA (Lower Arkansas) with it.
Congrats Tim. I love my VTM 31 in the Battleworn Finish. Looking forward to seeing how you like the bow after some time spent slinging arrows.
Great choice! I have been a Bowtech guy and got the VTM34 a few months ago and loving it. Holds like a rock.
Word!!
My last 3 bows were the Halon 7, vxr 31.5 and the V3 31. I’m totally blown away by the vtm 34. Every time I get thru with a practice session I just say WOW! It’s an awesome bow!! Also I shot 60 lbs with the Mathews. I’m shooting 65 lbs with the vtm . I kinda wished I got a 70 lber. Good luck hunting with it this year!!!
Cool video tim. Good luck this season with your new hoyt.
A buddy shot the NW Mountain Challenge last weekend with me. His VTM was one of the quieter bows on the course.
Sneaky quiet for sure
Glad to see some hoyt content. Need more hoyt guys on your backyard competitions videos!
Great to see you are open to other exceptional bows. Let’s see an Elite / Era or Verdict. Mainly because the pro shop I support is what he is carrying but also they look like a great bow.
Great B-roll with some great composed shots. Keep it fly
MFJJ stated in the video that the pull feels a lot lighter than it is set at. What are you set at and does it feel easier than the Bowtech and Mathews?
Similar to Bowtech, at least my gen 2 with medium cams.. feels a bit lighter than mathews
I absolutely love how your not biased against bow brands. Love your content. Love your personality don't change man. Would love to shoot with you someday if your ever in AZ.
I've always shot Mathews bows, but man oh man that's a nice looking bow! Just love seeing people into archery and loving their equipment, regardless of the brand behind it 👍🏻
@@jeffbaird2125 maybe someday. Have a phase 4 currently so I'm not in the market yet haha
I have shot Mathews since the days of the Outback. Last year I tried out the Rx7Ultra, and bought it on the spot. It just spoke to me, and I see myself shooting it for a very long time. Hoyt has great product, and I can fully recommend them!
Hmm taking off the grip and going straight to the riser… might need to give that a try when I get my new one.
Congrats on the new bow! Lucas did great on the b-roll…. Lol… keep the content coming!
Keep him around? 😃✊
I love my Mathew’s v3 but that battleworn is sick 👌🔥
I shot the Helix Ultra when it came out and I loved it. I even rigged it as a target bow for a bit and it was great.
Great video. Like that you try all types and manufacturers of bows. Hope you hunting endeavors go well.
🙏🙏
Sweet rig Tim!
Look forward to hearing your thoughts on the VTM. Hoyt is on the map for a new bow next year for me.
Congrats on your new hunting bow. I live the color Bro!
As much as I loved your spray painted Frankenstein, jk you should have been arrested for that.. that battle worn finish is *chef kiss*. Welcome to team Hoyt!
I've been shooting the ventum pro 30 and it's been way better than I expected. Especially for a short bow.
Definitely dig Camerons stuff. That was a great video of his, as well as this one. Keep it up dude.
Love my Hoyt’s, awesome pick!! Good luck this season!!
Dang i was not expecting a hoyt. I appreciate the honesty. solid vid man
You went from one tri-track cam design bow to one from another brand, huh?? I like what Hoyt did this year, but Bowtech is still my favorite brand. I do have a 2018 Quest Thrive that shoots lights-out, too!!! Keep on keeping on, Tim!!!!!
Thanks G!
By far the smoothest cam system out !
Nice! I have been looking at the Reckoning 36 and the RX7U. My daughter just got a new Reckoning SD and has been killing it on the 3D range. Video was little out of focus there on a few frames, but good content. Keep it up Tim!
You seem like a pretty honest person on your videos, don’t ever change. Always give people honest reviews rather than hype, people will always remember you for that. By the way, I like your bow
Spot on
thank you my friend 🙏
I am saving up for a hoyt vtm 34
Hell yeah my G!!!! Love it!!! That bow is bawd!!!!
Awesome bows. I went with the VTM 31 this year. Highly considered the 34 especially my DL being 29 it would've been top of the mod for awesome speeds. But the 31 just felt better to me, probably because I'm used to shorter ATA bows. can't go wrong with either though.
Bro I actually switched to a Hoyt after 7 Springs TAC after my limb split on my 6 month old PSE Mach 34 and I haven’t looked back. I got the VTM31 bourbon.
Monday upload and pod drop on Spotify on Tuesday are the only thing that get me through the beginning of the week. Best channel out there, you’re the man Tim.
Thank you 🙏 🙏
Nice bow! Curious to see more on how it works for you.
I just got my battleworn VTM built on Friday, best looking bow there is. Good choice.
Sweet. I’m shooting the Hoyt Highline for tournaments and hunting. 36.5” ATA
I just recently got my first bow about a week ago. I tested that Hoyt. The phase 4 and the PSE fortis. Ended up getting the PSE. It felt way better to me. But I like they way the Hoyt’s look
Love the finish on that Hoyt!
Same!!
Lucas did a good job! I really like the video Tim. Keep them coming buddy!
I actually like the stock strings on the Hoyt, I’ve had the VTM 34 for a few months now and they are still doing well. The tail on my top holeshot came/broke out too!!
Welcome to the Hoyt fam Tim I’ve got the RX7 80# and the RX7 ultra 70# love these bows love the content keep it up
Hell yeah! team Hoyt baby! Honestly doesn't matter what we are shooting(brand)....all shooting archery at the end of the day! (still fun to have that playful banter) Glad you are happy with it! That bow is SO clean looking.
more new bows!!!!! this makes me and I'm sure others happy to see. other than the same products over and over again. keep up the good work loving the content!
I'm glad you found another bow you dig. The big question is, when are you doing a give-a-way for the Reckoning 36 Gen 2? I'm in on that all day today and every day after!!
Cool I just upgraded from my Hoyt Maxxis 31 to a new Hoyt nitrux I have just got it set up after a few hours it’s a great strong bow and I have to get it set up better and break it in as I have great trouble getting it drawn after adjusting the cams to setting A dam my short stature 😨
Yea, I agree. That battle worn looks nice
What a good looking bow!
I shot hoyt for 20+ years, and won lots of trophies with them. Just decided to go with bowtech this year.
Hope you kill something with it this season! Take care
Good choice. Hoyt makes a really nice bow.
Interested in hearing what you think of the CBE, seems like everyone was going with the Landslyde. CBE looks easy to adjust and lighter weight.
Can you do a flagship Pse next year too? I like that you’re experimenting for us. Can’t wait to see your impressions over time
It’s on my radar for sure
Tim Thanx for all the vids you and MFJJ put out , Intertaning and informative . Im new to the Bow world and learn most off your Chanel as well as PodiumArcher …. Peace Tim Atwater
Thanks my friend ✊
Sick New Bow 🏹 🤙🏽
Awesome video!
That battle worn finish is so clean!
This is why I'm here tim u make the best content camera work is fantastic as always keep it up can't wait for more 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Bro! I love that bow. If I didn't just get a ventum pro 33 I would have that battle worn and all.
Right Tim I'm happy for you buddy that you are shooting a Hoyt bow. I ahoot the RX-7 and I would never shoot another brand of bow other than a Hoyt. They just kick ass!!!
The Hoyt’s have a different aesthetic appeal for sure.
i dig it!
Shooting the Rx7 Ultra and loving it. Good looking bow for sure congrats
Nice bow bro!
Should've gotten the Bourbon 🥃 color Tim...But nice choice!!
Great vid unc keep it up 🧔🏾♀️
Were you my first comment young G? ✊😃
@@TimConnor13 yep
Hey Tim love the choice…. I feel like nobody on the shows ever picks the Hoyt and I live my ventum 33. I see you guys took the grip off that Hoyt and I wondered if I could buy it from you…. Also if you change the string out I would also like to but the hole shot string dampeners for my ventum. I hope you love the bow and thanks …. Keep making videos I enjoy them thanks.
You kept the strings lol. Btw my ventum 33 strings have held up terrifically
Those podium stabs look pretty legit
After Winners Choice was sold, I used Fuse strings on all my Hoyts over the years with zero issues!
I do love the vtm great choice
Im hoping to get a hoyt in the future.. im still a beginner and i have a bear species. I shot vtm 31 a couple weeks back and fell in love with it.. love the vids Brutha 👊🏽
Most importantly you have a bow! I hear good things about Bear
That bow looks great!
That battleworn finish is my favorite finish across manufacturers for sure!
Love my VTM 31 Bourbon
I've shot the bows and I love the Hoyt Bows I just can't afford one right now. I hope to get one next spring.
great choice... I like how you're switching stuff up. 3 diff manufactures in less than a year?
Hell yeah hoyt baby!!!
Another solid video. That bow looks like it just doesn’t move after the shot. Just goes dead. Now, you gonna build more hunting arrows? Look at the Magnus Black Hornets w/bleeders. They are devastating and never fail to deploy lol.
It’s very dead in the hand! I’ve always heard good things about Magnus
Mathew’s makes freaking fantastic products and they’re always innovative and I’ll forever respect that. Same could be said for Bowtech, Elite, PSE, Prime etc. that being said, I’m always kinda biased to Hoyt because I live in SLC and it’s hard for me to go any other way. So give us an honest review of your Hoyt after a few weeks.
Bro that Hoyt suits you! 🤙🏼
Thanks my G!
I love my Ventum Pro 30!
YES!!!!
I have an rx7 ultra I love mine I plan on getting a 34 inch aluminum if they make one next year
Love my Highline,HBX Pro cam the best made on draw cycle!! Hard to beat the Newer Hoyts
What bow manufacture doesn't have a lower side bar mount? Saw that Battle worn finish at TAC and it's awesome in person. Looking good
I would be shooting a RX7U if my local dealer could have got one in with any reasonable known ETA last year but Hoyt sh*t the bed with West Coast 🇨🇦retailers. - Smoothest draw cycle I’ve felt.
I did dry fired my VTM twice in one month 😅.
Only lost top speed nocks and accuracy!
I’m glad you switched to the dark side.
Prime for me! All of these new bows are incredible.
Absolutely beautiful bows, but can you still get the Battleworn edition? I can't seem to find them anywhere..
Best part about you doing your own thing... your not a slave to Mathews anymore!
Gotta get you some of the go stix
Mathews, bowtech, hoyt.
I’m curious if the draw length was the same for each one? Or did u have to adjust for each brand?
Thanks
Keep up the good videos Tim.
The VTM was the most "vanilla" bow I shot this year. Not bad, not great. The best I can describe is it felt "mushy". I really liked the Rx7 Ultra, but I can't drop that much coin on a bow right now. I honestly couldn't find a bow that felt better than my old SR6.
Love that battle worn finish, though!
What bino harness you have? Any ones you like more than others?
