DC is the 3rd best downtown IMO in the states, after NYC and Chicago. I personally like the neoclassical, gothic revival, and Chicago school style architecture each city has over the Art Deco and other colonial style architecture most American cities have.

Love DC. Worked there for years. Still live nearby & visit often. In fact, I'm catching a show at the Kennedy Center in a few days. You couldn't pay me to drive there, though. Or anywhere else in the DMV. Thankfully the public transit is pretty good by US standards.

I fully appreciate you may have certain trade secrets that you'd rather not share, but if you have any advice that you would be willing to share either publicly or privately, I'd appreciate it.

12 years ago, I visited mainland China with my family. From that information, as well as both the video and the vantage point I had as a passenger in a vehicle in China, I must say that driving in Washington DC is a lot like driving in Shanghai in that Shanghai, at least when I was there, felt like it had a similar population density as Washington DC. Side note: I think it makes sense that D.C. twins with Shanghai, hence the two being sister cities (in the near future if that isn't true already).
Yes. Frequent breaking, tight roads, random cars double parked with hazard light on usually picking up food doordash, uber eats or waiting for passengers. You have to switch lanes often to get around random blocked lanes. Also random pedestrians walk in your path
The video clearly shows driving in Washington, D.C., but it's important to note that half of it occurs in Arlington, Virginia. I gave it a thumbs down because Arlington (Commonwealth of Virginia) is not part of D.C. 👎
Stop funding political turmoil in other countries and pretended human rights crusades when you're yourselves terrible violators of the same human rights, this things can backfire beyond salvaging even in America
What Major cities in America doesn't have homeless?.....DC is no different.....South East and North East side of town have a reputation and wouldn't wanna hang out there....
That’s just not true at all. Every city has homeless but DC has done a great job of cleaning up the city. Doubt you ever go to DC making a comment like this
