Thanks for this James, trying to get my fitness back up and have been doing road running. (Shins hurting) Have been doing Cambridge runs on grass but this looks like a good alternative !
thanks - never liked it anyway. I'll give this a go and report back. Keep up the good work and good luck on the weekend! BTW tried that steak, egg and avocado burrito yesterday with the wife - bloody lovely stuff!
James Haskell just did this today and it was a very intense workout. My whole body was in pain and it was hard to catch a breath a very great workout thanks. So how many sessions should one do per week in season with both gym and rugby training still part of the picture???
how long should you rest after each 25 seconds and how many reps before the 2 mins rest? also how many sets should be done before moving on to the bear crawl? cheers!!
hi James i'm french so...i love u ...no really thanks for your videos really funny and jn the same time good educationnal ...excuse me for my English!!
I've got to disagree with you regarding a couple of points here. The best running workout has got to be, without question, actually going out and running. Be it a medium to long road/trail run or a shorter interval workout. And in regards to what you say about road running. I again disagree with your claims about never going road running. While it does carry more impact on you when compared to grass or dirt, it's not like road running is just asking for an injury. More important that terrain is your form while running and whether or not you shoes are actually fit for running. If those are both in check than the risk or substantial injury should still be minimal on the road.
Hey James, I used to be a big fan, now I'm a air conditioner

Do you repeat this more than once ?
James how often do you recommend I do this a week? Bear in mind regular training is 2 times a week

twice a week.. You'll fuck your body up doing those 2 times a day that's just insanely stupid..

Is this classed as High intensity interval training, James?

That's not necessarily true Dominic. For example, most middle and long distance runners look emaciated.
@Aaron NoneYa Sure, I just mean that running alone does not mean either health or a healthy look.
I think most people go road running because they enjoy road running, no one enjoys doing this stuff. Can't deny its good for rugby fitness though.
Just done this training, I feel sick
That workout has slightly destroyed your lovely grass
What type of bear is the bear in the bear crawl?
The 18people who didn't like this videoobviously have trap envy.
