For a 37' boat, that engine room is awesome. No need for engine room yoga to do maintenance; which means that regular maintenance will more likely get done. This is a fantastic boat for the Great Loop. I also love that GH puts full size refrigerators on their boats. GH is really moving up my list of liveaboard trawlers.
I had back surgery last year and I'm not as flexible as I once was. The fact I could get access to everything mechanical without issue really highlighted how well thought out this design is. I'd love to do the loop in something like this if I had the time and money.
I've followed GH boats for years and continue to be impressed by the volume of their interiors, technical systems plus finish. A perfect boat to do coastal cruising or the great loop.
I agree 100%. I will go one further and also say I love the team at GH. They are so down to earth, extremely knowledgeable, and very little is set in stone. They go out their way to help accommodate people whenever they can. Some of the boat manufacturers and brokers I've been around have a my way or the highway mentality, but not GH 😉
I love getting on boats most people have never seen or even heard of before. If I was buying a liveaboard trawler for my wife and I to enjoy, this would be very high up the list for sure!
This was the first time I have watched one of these videos and was totally amazed with the vessel, looks relatively small as you approach it but the interior looks so very big, having not one but the two cabins and so much storage areas and the kitchen area looks more like a small apartment kitchen and not a galley on a boat, great set up and even greater with not only the washer/dryer combo, or I think you said it was, but to also have a dishwasher in there too, outstanding and thanks for giving us the walkthrough
There's very few boats I can think of that's such a great liveaboard under 40ft. If you were to tackle the Great Loop, it typically takes 1 year to complete. I'd have no issues spending a year onboard this one with a different change of scenery every morning 🤠
Never heard of these but that is AMAZING space for such a “small” boat. Looks like very few for sale used. Added to my “watch” list. Thanks for showing us this boat. And made in the USA!!
All the Great Harbour models have been built in relatively small numbers. Any time one hits the market, it never stays there for long. I can honestly see the appeal in these boats if you are looking for liveaboard cruising.
It would make a great live aboard for island hopping. I would outfit the fly bridge with a hard top and have it to where you enclose it for bad weather. Plus you you would have to have a grill on the aft deck for grilling up your catch.
Great suggestions! I got sent a meme of a trawler where the guy mounted the grill right next to the lower helm door. That way he could make the burgers while under way 😁. Every time I think of those grills, I think of that picture 😁
Great Harbour were one of the first ones to work with me when I started my UA-cam channel. Ever since stepping onboard I've been hooked. To have a boat that's as comfortable, practical, and economical for it's size, it's really hard to think of any other to compare it to 😉
I have a friend who bought a 20 year old GH37 with Joe’s assistance last year. He’s starting the Great Loop now. Just spent a week on his boat and I am totally impressed with Great Harbor. Such a comfortable and purpose built trawler for long distance trips. I can’t wait to get back onboard. Thanks for sharing this updated modern beauty. The N37 looks incredible. I love the open air flybridge on this model is a game changer for them!
So nice to see a brand spanking new one....I bet it smells just super. On the GH website they say that these N37's have the capability to sail to Hawaii and have indeed done so (I guess with external bladder tanks, or maybe even in that massive locker). That is truly blue water.
I can't think of many boats of this size that I'd confidently plot the GPS for Hawaii and sail on out. Great boats, especially for liveaboard cruising.
Another Great Harbour. Two in one week. Nice pocket trawler. Install a side by side washer/dryer instead of the combo and I'm sold. Put in the guest cabin where the engine room access is. Make that a utility room.
Even on brand new trawlers and yachts that are fresh off the assembly line do not have an engine room as spotless as this, it's like a hospital O.R. the entire vessel is amazing, I'm wondering if this can be gotten in the States ? I just retired sold my house and single and this is the perfect size for me to live aboard which is what I'm looking for
It's a great boat for liveaboard cruising. They are manufactured in Gainesville, Florida. Great Harbour would love to talk through any questions or requirements you may have. They are very down to earth and fantastic to work with 😉
Hi Carnock Reviews, Thats a very very intresting yacht what you show us this Great Harbour with a bright and cozy salon bridge but a big space to de bow more then i expeted good size galley 2 cabins one head and a very spaceious engine room and from the salon that extra storage room below is great place for a washer and dryer Great show again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very few boats of this size have the access this one has. It would be far easier to service and maintain this boat long term than most others on the market
Nice boat, lovely galley, lots of space. Makes me laugh when you state the second stateroom has a “large double bed”. The foot of the next next to the door can’t be more that 42 inches wide. Hardly “large”. Great for a single though. Nice head. Overall for what it is, this boat is a 9/10 quite easily. Thanks for the tour.
I love how it is not intimidating for say my wife and I to go cruising in. Plenty of room onboard, but doesn't feel like a big boat when you are in the marina 😎
In order to be a true live aboard a boat has to have a functional galley with adequate cold storage. This boat does that and so much more for a 37 footer. Very impressed.
I agree 100%. Someone once commented that if you want a weekender, you need a galley. If you want a liveaboard, you need a kitchen. I see where they were coming from, and this boat has everything you could ever need......and then some 😎
I'm 6ft 2 and had plenty of room, but I feel your pain in not being able to say that for all boats. As to range, the default configuration is for 1500 miles at 7 knots. You can do a few tweaks like less water and more fuel onboard if you prefer.
Now that sounds like a plan! I think you mean Captain Steve. I always thought his videos were like watching a surveyor review a boat, and I mean that as a compliment to him. Very detailed, and always learned something from them.
Having lived in a 35 foot Class A motor home for 10 years, I can say the multiple decks increases the usable living space tremendously! With my motor home the living space is all on one level, but with a lot of storage below.
That's a great comparison! I'd imagine the saloon being up in the pilothouse with all that visibility and natural light would make for a very comfortable living space.
I wish someone would work with Great Harbour to build their proposed N44 (basically an N37 on an N47 hull with a massive cockpit). It would be the ultimate coastal cruiser (massive tankage and storage with huge outdoor entertaining space - plus room for tons of solar).
I haven't heard of that one, but great idea. I did see the model in their office of the proposed 70 footer. They never did build one but it would be such an impressive boat if they did 😉
Wow all in a 37 ft boat pretty amazing a ton of space the engine is Simply terrific plenty a room to work in there and take care of the engines and up top and the flybridge. Once they get it covered it’s gonna be an awesome space. What is the asking price of a boat like this?
Thanks for watching. Price is hard to say, as no 2 examples are the same. It all boils down to your specification and time of ordering etc. Very rough figures, you are looking somewhere in the low $600's for an entry level spec, to the mid $700s for a top of the line example. Great Harbour would be your best option to work with for more accurate pricing. As to solar, plenty of room on this one to mount solar panels to keep your ancillaries onboard topped up without needing to run the engines or generators. Again, Great Harbour can assist with this install and planning.
I don't think they ever stopped production completely. I think it was just the GH line they stopped. I've seen several TT35s and N37s get launched since I started my channel.
What an amazing amount of quality options in such a small package!! I love that kitchen, it's nicer than mine! Greig, I'm assuming you can choose between that cartridge toilet & a flushable one?? Thanks for the tour!! ✌️🏳️🌈✌️
Thanks Bryan. You are correct, they have all sorts of options. You can have less water and more fuel etc for tank capacities, all based on your needs etc. They are a great company to order from as they work with you every step of the way to build the boat that suits you best 😎
Amzing. Only 37' but it has 2 spacious cabins, a HUGE kitchen and an ENORMOUS engine room. 800nm range is a bit small for ALL Caribbean but enough for Bahamas. I see 20yo Great Harbors go 300k. I wonder how much this is.
It's the best boat I've seen for its size. As to price, it really does depend on spec. Flybridge or not, what electronics etc. Ballpark, though, somewhere in the region of $600k for a new build.
I could see some owners benefiting from a water maker onboard. I am sure Great Harbour could help arrange this, and there is plenty of room to accommodate it as well.
Not with my back surgery 😁 Great Harbour design the boats so that everything can be replaced in time from engines, appliances, and more. These boats will last a looooooong time with the right maintenance
I love this one too Erik. Only thing is, the Yanmar fuel economy and range is a big part of this yachts appeal. Those Cummins I'm sure would drink more than the Yanmars, and with the hill design, you probably won't get much more speed.
@@GarnockReviews could always get the 5.9 de tuned. I have a 8.3L 250 hp 6c Cummins in my 50’ commercial schooner and I’m barely using 3.5gph doing 8.5kts@2100 rpm. All comes down to gear ratios and prop pitch, I think on the low end the 6b is offered at 210hp, then again I’d opt for a single screw, not as easy to maneuver, but then again there are so many thruster options on the market now. My biggest beef with marine engines is that if you read the data tags, they are generally listed as recreational engines, and not rated for constant duty ie long distance passage making. I prefer engines with an industrial heritage meant for the long haul. Throw in a keel cooler and a dry stack exhaust and you will never again have to mess with a heat exchanger or raw water pump/impeller. At least they aren’t Volvos!!!!
Thanks Mike, glad you enjoyed it 😊 I'm hoping to get onboard another Great Harbour next month to bring to the channel. It's an older boat but will be interesting to do a compare and contrast to this one 😉
I've seen plenty of posts in Facebook groups from people doing the Loop in Great Harbours. I'd have no issue doing it in this one if I had the time and money 😉
Great Harbours are, literally, "go anywhere" boats. They are based on a Pacific workboat hull design - you know, the "Deadliest Catch" boats that go into the Bering sea in atrocious conditions. I have over 20,000 cruising miles on these boats in all kinds of offshore conditions. Safe and stable without external stabilizers. Contact Captain Joe Senn at Great Harbour Trawlers (he actually lives aboard his own N37!) for more info and to answer any questions you might have about stability and offshore capabilities.
Thank you for the prompt replies. I just worry about that profile in strong wind conditions. There is a lot of boat above the waterline, but testimonials from people who actually own and sail these boats obviously counts for a lot. The pluses of that great volume are indeed important for liveaboards.
@@sailor5026 Yes, there is some windage, however, this is a 48,000 lb. displacement yacht. Even though shallow draft, there is a whole lot of hull in the water. As hull designer Lou Codega says, "We take the displacement OUT rather than down." VERY stable in all conditions.
Thanks, again. I do appreciate these comments, and I really do like the accommodation. I also realize that every design is a compromise. I also like to see owners take the time to stick up for their boats. Good sailing to you.
@@GarnockReviews I'm down there every once in a while but tend to stay a little further north in Jacksonville we live aboard a 72 foot burger motor yacht and we see these great harbors come through our marina all the time

I seriously cannot believe that all this is on a 37 foot boat. That is mind blowing to me. That galley is fantastic. A lovely simple boat.
Not many times could I picture myself living in a boat under 40ft, but I could easily do it on this one! 😎
I'm amazed how spacious it is for 37ft. Would love to see more Great Harbours on the channel.
Any time someone offers me the chance to jump onboard with my GoPro, the answer is yes 😎 I love these boats for what they are.
Sweet
Might be the most efficient lay out I’ve ever seen on a 37ft boat
I agree 😎
Wow. The amount of space is almost hard to believe. I could live on this thing. Thanks for sharing. Jan.
She would be a great liveaboard! I filmed 2 more liveaboards over the weekend. Should have those videos uploaded very soon 😉
What an incredible amount of space in such a relatively small boat. That is absolutely amazing.
I agree 100% 😎
By far the best sub 40 ft trawler I’ve seen, an amazing use of space and the galley is fantastic
It's the benchmark for me as a perfect liveaboard under 40ft that I compare all others to. Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it
@@GarnockReviews I agree. If I was in the market for a sub 40' boat, i think this would be it.
Such a fantastic boat in a "small" package. Certainly spacious and would be a very comfortable coastal explorer.
Biggest small boat ever 😁

That engine room actually made me smile. That was too cool!!
It's fantastic for any yacht, but even more so for one that's relatively speaking, small. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment
That's a perfect "big" little boat. Would I have the money, that's nothing but perfect.
Another great video from you 👌
Thank you 😊
WOW, I've always loved the look of the tugs & trawlers. Great Harbor has done a great job with this platform.

I was happy to see a lower horsepower engine set which gives good range and was also impressed at the accessibility within the engine room.
Personally, I'm also glad it's twins. I'm not a big fan of going out to sea in something with just 1 engine in case something goes wrong.
The design, the twin motors, bow thruster, use of space... well done! In the top 3 at the moment for my future.
It would make my short list too 😎
Best small Trawler ever seen!!!!

I remember seeing this Trawler model over 20 years ago at the Miami Boat show and loved it at first sight .
Great seeing they're still building these. I would love to also see a recent N47.
This is hull #25, but they have other orders under way, and I believe they have TT35s under construction as well.

Thanks Mike, glad you enjoyed it 😊 I'm hoping to get onboard another Great Harbour next month to bring to the channel. It's an older boat but will be interesting to do a compare and contrast to this one 😉
After watching this for the third time, I have to ask ‘How did they get this in a 37’ ?’ It is such a easy Bachelor’s boat
Nice, but where do the fish go?
On the grill 😆
@GarnockReviews Fair enough
i am 100 percent in LOVE...gezz!
It's a big win for me too 😉 Even my wife who doesn't really like boats fell in love with this one!
I used to final-patch those boats, all model's retired now
Perfect boat
I agree, thanks for watching 😉
Good review, but how is she in a seaway? Would she really be safe for the great loop?
Nice, would order two side doors.
Good idea, even a door at the helm could work 😎
I am in love
Great live aboard
Thanks, love it. How much? $$$$
It really does depend on the specs you choose. Rough ballpark, you are looking somewhere between $600k - $750k
Impressive for 37'.
Rivew kapal yang sangat bagus pak 8:13
i watched them put that boat in the water while i was working on the sailboat behind it
There's several really nice boats in that marina. That was the first time I filmed in Green Cove. Wouldn't rule out filming there again.
@@GarnockReviews I'm down there every once in a while but tend to stay a little further north in Jacksonville we live aboard a 72 foot burger motor yacht and we see these great harbors come through our marina all the time
Great boat …..prive for this boat.thanks a lot.
Great design for a smaller yacht. I could do some cruising on that. I f I could afford it.
