I don't know about 'a slow descent into reality' but for the first time I wasn't asked for ID to get a drink last weekend. I wasn't brave enough to ask if they wanted to see it in case the answer was 'Why?'

I recommend checking out the bands Epica, Kamelot, Xandria, Within Temptation, Delain, Leaves' Eyes and Visions of Atlantis, these are Symphonic Metal bands that are a lot like Nightwish and if you love Nightwish you’ll love these other bands too
