VW T25 / T3 sound proofing materials installation

My VW T3 Syncro was quite loud so I have installed soundproofing materials.
I was using Silent Coat products and to make the whole process cheaper also old stuff.
At the end of the video, you will find a before and after the data table for comparison of sound level.

Take it all out again! This stuff will suck all of the dampness out of the air and rot the van from the inside out. Use Alubitumen and Armaflex. Believe me its worth it. Have owned VW vans for over 40 years ; -)

Seems like a lot of time and work for only 1db less noisy. I want to something similar to improve the thermal and noise...

The biggest effect was from adding OEM insulation on iner sides of D pillar, when I bought the van, it was striped and I didn't knew of their existence. Luckily I have bought a donor syncro later on and found this insulation there.

Sorry didnt watch to the end. The stuff you're using at the top is fine, just this old Rock/ Glasswool is not good.......
