Fairbourne Steam Railway 25th May 2014

We drop round Fairbiurne for a day at their Little and Large Gala.

Love this train, used to take our children on it, they are all grown up now. Have been with our son, daughter in law and granddaughter, planning to take them and our grandson in August, fingers crossed if we are allowed to visit Wales.

We have had lots of rainy days in North Wales,, we have stated in Dinorwic a few times, at the foot of the old slate mines, atmospheric when wet, but great,.

24:07. My Grandparents bungalow on the very left. Spent many a happy summer there. Summer of 76 heatwave. Sitting on a tractor inner tube in the sea. F4 Phantoms flying over. Met Jill and Susan Harris there. I think the Golf house was owned by a guy named Doug. Great times.
