He will win 8 titles and shut down every opponent inside to 0 pts 0 rebs while Lively gets 15 pts 15 Rebs. 7 blocks every game and the stupid ny la minnesota Atlanta media still won't put him as First Team Defense
He can be a great player and hof. He is 15% better than the beginning of the year. The best part is that he will be 20% better in 2-3 years. Kids still..well..a kid. Luka is still going to be getting better for 5-7 years as well. Kyrie is in his prime now and a smarter player than ever. We have an extremely bright future for the next few years. Whether we win a ring or not this year I'm very confident we will next year because we have all the main pieces we need, we could use a better bench and it wouldn't hurt to have another consistent 15-20 point starter with good defense. Getting Lively, Gafford, Washington and DJJ in one year is crazy and best case scenario.
Thank goodness we tanked that late regular season game vs the Bulls last year. If we beat the bulls we probably end up picking 11th and that pick goes to NY!!!
Luka block rejection on the crap lob attempt to Rudy in the last play of the game- and the JMcdaniels save attempt that Luka snagged were genius. Dude showed insane focus and defensive execution.

I love how hardy capitalizes on his few minutes. I thought after last year that he would take the step to be that Tim hardaway flame thrower, but I don’t think that’s what they want him to be. I think they have him studying to be a mix between Luka and Kai. Training him to pass first and score when needed. Hardy has been coming out passing first and love it. It’s a small sample size. But the fact that exum nor hardaway can seem to be semi productive in their minutes, but hardy finds a way to do SOMETHING is amazing. I pray he locs in this summer. Focus on guard play and defense and he can be special. If they invest the time and effort they out in Josh into hardy, he will be something special. If not a baby Kai, then a Tim 2.5….. he can be special

I personally think Nico wanted to play Exum as much as he could to resign Hardy on the cheap, but winning a chip is too tempting, so they have to play him. 4 assists in 9 minute is insane. Ant could not stay in front of him. In fact my buddy pointed out that Hardy was the most effective facilitator in the paint last night. He was the one who figured out if you put Ant on your hip and hesitate it opens up Lively. Then Luka just took off after seeing that.
Now imagine we hit more 3's and maybe just a ✨touch✨ more Luka magic. I feel much more confident after this win. Our defense had Ant huffin and puffin 😆dude was getting TIRED
These guys owned us in the preseason overseas, and I know we didn't have Gafford or Washington yet, but I was expecting a rough 1st game. Our defense and chemistry in general might just be enough to break their circuits though, whether our shots fall or no..

The Big rotation is perfect, it keeps Lively out of trouble early. My only beef is continuing to give Exum minutes, just commit to Hardy is by far and away the better player.
My takeaways from game 1: Wolves defense is not what everyone said it would be. At least not against Dallas. Luka and Kyrie both can get to any spot on the floor of their choosing. Last night, Wolves decided to play drop cover and made Luka and Kyrie beat them. Wolves are definitely going to try to trap more on the ball, and it'll be up to our role players to make the right reads and make the open 3s. With that being said..Wolves don't have the personnel to slow down Luka/Kyrie like OKC did. In my opinion, when this series is over, I think we will realize that OKC matched up way better against Dallas than the Wolves.
The media and those butthurt old heads ex players would never admit that Dallas Mavs is a great defensive team 😂 They also did that on 2011 Finals where it is more of Lebron choking than Mavs great defense for them

Wolves are simply to slow. Glad I was right about that. Gobert, Conley, KAT, Slo-mo.... have such slow feet on defence. I expect more minutes even for Green and Hardy. They don't have the players to run with the Mavs. This could be a very short series.

The Big rotation is perfect, it keeps Lively out of trouble early. My only beef is continuing to give Exum minutes, just commit to Hardy is by far and away the better player.
My takeaways from game 1:
Wolves defense is not what everyone said it would be. At least not against Dallas.
Luka and Kyrie both can get to any spot on the floor of their choosing. Last night, Wolves decided to play drop cover and made Luka and Kyrie beat them. Wolves are definitely going to try to trap more on the ball, and it'll be up to our role players to make the right reads and make the open 3s. With that being said..Wolves don't have the personnel to slow down Luka/Kyrie like OKC did. In my opinion, when this series is over, I think we will realize that OKC matched up way better against Dallas than the Wolves.
The media and those butthurt old heads ex players would never admit that Dallas Mavs is a great defensive team 😂 They also did that on 2011 Finals where it is more of Lebron choking than Mavs great defense for them
