LMAO not me watching this when it came out thinking huh this is great but i'll never need this and now 7 months later my job wants me to draft a newsletter. you're the og ride or die hannah
This video was everything I could've hoped for and more. I wanted to avoid a dreary text search and study session, but I knew newsletters are a topic I needed to learn about. You saved me! This video was super clear, entertaining and informative! I'm your newest subscriber and I'm excited to start brainstorming my first newsletter
Also tip on the 'send a test'. If you're creating your email on a computer, open the test on a phone to see what the mobile version looks like!! I'm the office administrator for a small non-profit summer camp. I am 100% going to be using this video as a resource for me! We send out emails and try to entice people but its so hard to do when no one reads anything anymore
First time here. I came to educate myself on how I should start up my own newsletter at work and damn, now I am WAY more informed then I was before. I feel like I can actually take my whimsical idea and turn it into reality lol P.S. Thank you very much. Also, I love ❤️ you’re right eyebrow, the color of your sweater, and you’re pretty damn cute. Bye bye 👋
Lol I love the headers for each tip. Literally bust out laughing at number 5 for crafting content. Any who, I found the information here extremely helpful, but I do have a question. At what point in a writer's career would you suggest starting up a mailing list?
haha thanks! I suggest writers get their website and mailing lists launched ASAP. It takes a long time to build a mailing list big enough to turn sales, so the sooner the better! ^_^ Your content is obviously going to change from when you first start out to when you have books to sell, but it's not hard to craft compelling newsletter content even without a book.
Super helpful! I've been watching your channel for a bit and was very happy to see this video come up as I've been researching how to improve my newsletter. This is the best video on the topic, thank you!
Love these tips! Writing and formatting a newsletter can feel overwhelming, but breaking it down step-by-step like this makes it much more approachable.
I use MailChimp, so it's super easy. I'm not sure how to do it with anything else lol. Just Google whichever service you use and there's a video tutorial 100% of the time
I only have experience with MailChimp and it wasn't Super Duper, but I think that's still the standard choice for free mailing list management. Thanks!
Really good information and I WAS going to share with my daughter who is taking college classes right now as a senior in high school, but the language was offensive, ie $$it. I can't even type it. So, my suggestion would be to clean it up.
Hey Great Video, buy Subject line is really misleading. Although it worked for making me open this video, but It ruined your credibility in my eyes. The Subject Line: "How to Write Great and Highly responsive Emails Newsletters" would have been better

The moment I open a newsletter and it just spammy and trying to sell something or an expensive master class. They get ignored and/or unsubscribed.
