Depends on your situation. The 865 is a super-cardioid pickup pattern, which is better suited to situations where is the monitor or another sound source is not directly behind the mic more off at an angle, or when using 2 monitors
I actually bought them from here: www.avshop.ca/microphones/microphone-accessories/wireless-accessories/sennheiser-id-rings-for-ew-g3-g4-or-skm-2000-series-mics but that's a Canadian site. But this is it at B&H www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/798901-REG/Sennheiser_KEN2_ID_Rings_For_Evolution.html
With this mic, if I power off the mic and leave the receiver on, I get a loud static, white noise sound that come through the PA system. How do I fix this?
It would seem to me that you have wireless interference on that channel. Look at the receiver when the mic is off and are you getting fairly large spikes of interference? If they’re not super loud, you could just turn up the squelch to a higher number. That’s in the settings on the receiver or if it’s quite bad you will need to find a different frequency to use.
We just purchased the G4 835 at my church. Every time we lose power we have to reset each sensitivity level on the mic’s. Is there a way we don’t have to do this when we lose power. Thank you for the video and God Bless.
@@churchaudiolife By losing power I mean the all electricity goes out. This happened to us last Sunday morning when the power finally came back on we couldn’t use the mics because of the sensitivity was to high. When this happens it goes to like a factory setting. Then we have to go to each mic and adjust that sensitivity level, I know it’s weird! Thank you so much for getting back with me on this question.

as a vocalist in the music band, do you recommend: "SENNHEISER EW 100 G4-935-S " ? i am searching for a price performance product
@@reorice could well be interference. Are you seeing the RF meters bouncing when the mic is off? So either find a different frequency, or turn up the squelch
If you had only one mic you could use the default frequency otherwise with multiple mics you want to coordinate them. In Canada we cannot use the B range, but anything you buy now should be legal, It would be good to check your own country
if you wanted to use with camera, this would be a much better choice: SENNHEISER EW 135P G4 CAMERA WIRELESS HANDHELD MIC SET. Otherwise with this kit you'd have to have a way to power it and would need either an XLR to ⅛" cable or ¼" to ⅛" cable. The camera kit would be way better. This: SENNHEISER AVX CAMERA-MOUNTABLE HANDHELD WIRELESS SET might be a good choice too. Both come with whatever adapter you need.
sorry for the late reply. This really depends on how loud the singer is. You want to be getting good solid level on the mic without distorting it. So I would start at -30 and adjust up or down based on the singer.
Hello my friend God bless you in Jesus mighty and powerful name anyways we’re basically starting up a church out here by Pismo Beach San Luis Obispo County we bought the Yamaha MODX8-88 key Electric piano in an Epson acoustic guitar and so now we’re onto the next stages of speakers mixer and as you can tell microphones there’s four people in our group all this microphone can you be expanded the four people or would I have to buy four of these units or if you could let me know I really appreciate it
i laughed every time you corrected the pronunciation lol great review
Thanks man!
I am a street performer, can u show how to connect this to my roland keyboard amp?
They have a quarter inch out at the back, and the keyboard amp should take the level no problem

Does this system will have a better sound quality with the 865 head?

I’ve never experienced that. By losing power you mean taking the batteries out? That’s never happened to us

I do like the way these mic's sound and the wireless performance. very good mic's.
Thanks for the review and very well explained information ℹ️
hey thank you!
Do you have any noise problems when you turn the transmitter/mic off and leave the receiver on?
no not at all. Nice and clean.
i do have it, how come bro?
@@reorice could well be interference. Are you seeing the RF meters bouncing when the mic is off? So either find a different frequency, or turn up the squelch
Roberto Galanto Music , you might adjust the squelch until that noise goes away.
Try putting your squelch setting on High it's stop all of the crazy hissing noise when we turn the transmitter off
You can use it directly without informing frequency to be use? Is there any issue about legal frequency in your country?

I saw one of these on marketplace today for $70. Want to buy for someone who needs. What a deal, no?
Maybe too good. But worth checking
@@churchaudiolife turns out it was not the same model as the amazon photo. arrgggg.
Ah makes sense
The receiver connects to how many transmitters?
One
Just bought this mic
Nice, should do well for you!
Have you experienced any dropouts or problems with it?
We just received two of these and when we turn them off we get constant activity on the board. Annoying
There must be interference would be good to find other frequencies to use. That likely would’ve happened with any mic brand.
Or if your squelch is too low might be as simple as that

Are the handhelds all metal or plastic?
Metal
