Matterhorn Sacajawea Traverse

Friday 7-26-22 Jason Jette and I hiked from Ice Lake up to Matterhorn peak. From there we followed the ridge line over to Sacajawea peak. Along the route there is serious exposure and some scrambling and climbing needed to get past the crux. On the way down we took the south ridge off Matterhorn Sacajawea ridge along ice lake. We did some exploring and just had our selves a great day. Afterwards we headed down to camp at Ice Lake and did some fishing. We got 2 rainbows and 3 cuttthroat trout. 10/10 would recommend.
