I hope the leaked remaster doesn't cause you guys any trouble, i appreciate all the effort you guys went through to get one of my most beloved games into the current era of gaming.
I think if Bethesda shuts them down people would LITERALLY riot and boycott bethesda forever, they would never ever recover if they attacked the fans by doing something so egregiously heinous as to interfere with this beloved project.
Bethesda has been great throughout development, we are here because they allowed us to bring our vision to life so while I personally am pretty skeptical of this rumor being true even if it was Skyblivion will be a totally different experience and I hope people will give both options a try.
I haven’t played Oblivion or Morrowind, but I’ve spent over 2,000 hours in Skyrim. I accidentally stumbled upon your channel and watched your stream in one breath-I was absolutely amazed. Maybe I’m not the biggest fan of The Elder Scrolls series, but I love Skyrim with all my heart and now want to start playing Oblivion. I began looking for mods to enhance the 2006 game and discovered your creation. Now, I can’t wait for it! I want to thank you and everyone involved in Skyblivion. Recently, rumors about an official remake or remaster of Oblivion have started to appear-you probably know about it already. But I want to say this from my heart: please, don’t abandon this project now. Your work deserves to be completed. When I watch videos about Skyblivion, I get an overwhelming desire to play it, explore, and simply wander through this world while listening to the ambient music. Ah, it’s so wonderful. Thank you to anyone who reads my comment, and please forgive me-I’m writing this through a translator because with my level of English, I wouldn’t be able to express my thoughts clearly. Thank you!
Translator did a pretty good job. Pretty much the same thing for me. Although I had played Morrowind and Oblivion back in the day, I would always pick the in-game mechanics of Skyrim. Man, dual-wielding is just AWESOME.
Thanks so much for your hard work :) Can't wait to play this someday. Will be my millionth playthrough of Skyrim except this time with Oblivion! Merry Christmas to you and the rest of the team
1:36:00 I would like to make a suggestion for this fort. Since it's right in the middle of the road, it could be interesting if the bandits didn't attack you directly but instead demanded a toll for you to pass... and only attacked if you refused or the persuasion failed.
Beautiful work as always, even if a remake or remaster existed im not sure it could rival what your group has achieved, truly yall deserve the praise!!!!
Thanks for sharing this. TES3 and 4 are my favorites from the series and am looking forward to the remakes of both. I'm sorry if I missed it in this video but how much is left to work on for Skyblivion?
This is the last part of the map I am now doing, other than that we have a few Oblivion realms, some dungeons, houses and the Imperial city left to do. Also a hand full of quests. There will be a new dev diary before the end of the year :)
@@RebelzizeXtra I look forward to the dev diary. Oblivion, and Morrowind, are deeply rooted in so many memories I have when my kids were little. They were fascinated with the game and loved watching me explore. I got each of them their own copies for PC including all addons. That was incredible in 2006 and am so excited to see it recreated with so much more detail
Hey Rebelzize. This probably isn't one of your big concerns when you're just pushing to get the game done. But has any thought been put into putting more trees closer together into it? It seems awful sparse. Also the trees seem very one dimensional. I don't see any that split off, V, or sprawl like Oaks do. Just curious.
Depending on the area the forests get MUCH more dense, this area will also get more dense as we get closer to Blackwood. As for the trees they were made for us and I think they look great, it can always be better but that goes for everything in the game and unless someone shows up out of thin air and remade it this is what we got.
Those lands remind me of Zelda and one idea came to mind and that is to add some kind of kolog seeds or collectibles that can be unlocked with a mini puzzle like putting a rock in a circle of rocks, that's something that Nintendo It is used to fill empty places in Zelda and they are all over the map because they have a template of 4 or 5 that are repeated throughout the map. Also it would be interesting to add the animated carriages mod and for there to be a mission that involves going up to one incognito and reaching a point x or something like that, it is the best mod of recent times. or that there are some random carriages carrying wheat between farm and city.
41:55 I dont hate Starfield but waiting 8 years for what we got is pretty disappointing and feels like they've learned all the wrong lessons from Elder Scrolls and Fallout. And now we have to wait another 6+ years for ES6
Not when it releases; according to rumors, Bethesda has been burned a bit too much by Fallout the Frontier. However, Skyblivion may come to Steam later on.
BGS are not the ones who make it. They're only licensing it. The remaster itself would be made by another studio. They usually do ports from one platform to another. So, basically, it's their first big project. I would expect an unoptimized game with many more bugs than they were on the original Creation Engine. If the rumors are true in the first place
I honestly think the leaks might actually just be conversations between you and Bethesda, and they assumed you guys are devs from a subsidiary discussing the progres so far lol
2:53 XDDD What is with the transition marker on the map near the Gold Coast? Like, WHY?? BTH, wanted to ask. Will the grass be visible in the distance by default? Or are there some limitations on the engine's side?
Hello guys, appreciate for what you're doing! I have 1 single request for you. For the love of god, please, can you guys make the traps is skyblivion actually deal some serious damage etc. I want traps to actually work in games. For example, in Skyrim and Og Oblivion the traps literally do nothing but tickle you a little bit( You know, lethal traps will at least make players pay attention to details and look where they are going, not blindly follow the quest mark
Some percent of health damage and inflicted negative effect, like "broken bones: -50% Stamina regeneration". It would be a better solution, I think. You still have to pay attention, because of the long-term debuffs (Traumas), but won't be forced to reload the save every time you miss the trap.
What does that even mean.. In a game where you can be a lizard man or get married to any follower regardless of race or sex is that really a big concern?
@@waywardgames44it’s literally impossible given the entire structure of the Elder Scrolls series I can’t tell if you’re a moron troll or just an idiot who’s never played a single elder scrolls game.
Bethesda doesn't do shit. The "remake" (if there is one) is going to be made by another studio. They usually do ports from one platform to another, so this is their first big project. I highly doubt its quality. TBH I would even if Bethesda was making it...
You sound like a 14 year old ignoramus that doesn't really know what they're talking about. The remake will be mid compared to the GOODness that Skyblivion is going to be. Maybe it will look better than Skyblivion, because they're going to somehow use Unreal Engine 5 to revamp the graphics, but it will still have Elder Scrolls 4's gameplay jank. The "remake" is going to be more like a port with better graphics, little more than that.
I hope the leaked remaster doesn't cause you guys any trouble, i appreciate all the effort you guys went through to get one of my most beloved games into the current era of gaming.

@RebelzizeXtra nice
So exciting to see this coming together.
I've been sick for years but in Skyrim I can jump, run, swim and ride. I have longed for Oblivion and Morrowind, we all thank you.
