- "The shell game (also known as thimblerig, three shells and a pea, the old army game) is often portrayed as a gambling game, but in reality, when a wager for money is made, it is almost always a confidence trick used to perpetrate fraud. In confidence trick slang, this swindle is referred to as a short-con because it is quick and easy to pull off. The shell game is related to the cups and balls conjuring trick, which is performed purely for entertainment purposes without any purported gambling element.
A small ball is placed beneath one of these containers so that it cannot be seen, and they are then shuffled by the operator in plain view. One or more players are invited to bet on which container holds the ball - typically, the operator offers to double the player's stake if they guess right. Where the game is played honestly, the operator can win if he shuffles the containers in a way which the player cannot follow.
In practice, however, the shell game is notorious for its use by confidence tricksters who will typically rig the game using sleight of hand to move or hide the ball during play and replace it as required. Fraudulent shell games are also known for the use of psychological tricks to convince potential players of the legitimacy of the game." - Розваги

He lifts/pushes the back of shell and pinches the pea between his thumb and middle finger. Here's him pushing the glass and shell together to grab the pea from under, looks like it took him two tries. Regardless this is great misdirection and slight of hand, I know I could never do it.
Nice kept trying figure it out. I had a feeling that was the case.
In the last one he says to Cole "stick out your finger" but Braden actually puts out his thumb and Cole mimics exactly what he SAW but did not hear... then the jokes comes in, "No Cole thats your thumb, I said your finger".. 😂
That last one was a nice move. Even knowing what was happening, I had to put it in slowmo to get a glimpse of the steal, and still couldn't see the pea itself on camera.

Just by sliding back will move the pea out of the shell from the back of it where he clamps d pea with his thumb n middle finger. Since the pea is soft it is easy to squeeze n hide it from plain sight. The same trick with the pea covered by d glass. The moment he made the second move to d front, you can see he forceps the pea with his thumb and another finger.

you can see a moment where he also grabs the glass and she’ll and it’s jumps up just for a moment allowing him to get the pea, then he gets the third shell and uses his wallet as a distraction to put the pea in. that’s my guess
:D by the moment his left hand moves to his pocket to get the wallet the pea is already under the shell.

i cant see where the first pea goes in the last trick but the camera angle is bad for you taking the 2nd pea from under the table in normal speed, you also have it clenched so smoothly in your fingers before the insertion and your hand tightens up quite a bit after which was a huge giveaway
I don’t take a pea from under the table, though, so the camera angle is actually perfect for it. Again, I don’t take a pea from under the table ever. There is only one pea.
