After you realize you've lost the bet, they say you can win it back if you bet a large amount more, they use high pressure tactics, in a group...where you think others are playing but they're in on the scam.
There are multiple red balls involved and magnets. Once he bangs the cup it is strong enough to release the ball again. Slight of hand is also involved where he slips the ball under the cup but magnets are also involved hence the metal cup
7.42 he pulls fishingline which has a key ring on the end from his pocket, fishing line is on a springed pully inisde his wallet.he puts ring on key ring and lets go, it then snaps back to his pocket
well you can track the cup and replay the vid everytime something new gets placed underneath. he does it the moment he reveals the last one and everyones still surprised at the last trick
Easy to see the exchange. He pushes cup away at 4:15 takes ball out of it. Then moves shell towards him and slides ball under shell. The movements of the cup and shell are the give away. No reason to move them other wise.
Jonathan Deller If you notice he DOES touch both shells, he pushes the cup forward (aka he lifts it yup enough to slide out the pea, and he pulls the other nut towards him (aka lifts it up and slides the pea under). Then he makes a big speech about not touching or manipulating the nuts but he already has. Knowing how he did this in my opinion doesn't make this any less impressive. He's really good at making it super subtle and distracting the audience. Would absolutely watch this guy do his show.
I've studied sleight of hand a lot but I dunno how the fuck he made the ring disappear and reappear, and he kind of got me with the red ball too. He had his hands wide open... wtf?
6:56 second tennis ball goes in. First tennis ball was in there from the get go, notice how he avoids ever showing the inside of the cup at some point. Id wager use of magnetism ispart of this.
@@SOLDOZER Magicians wear special clothes all the time to aid in their tricks. 7:35 he gets the ring holder. 7:45 he places the ring on the ring holder. 7:47 he slides the ring holder into a special compartment in his suit. 8:20 he pulls it out of his suit, not his back pocket.
He didn't actually expose a move, If he did why were the audience so blown away by the effect. giving them a small bit of info is a way of keeping them hooked then blow them away at the end. a prime example of that is the last phas of the dai vernon cups and balls routine.
after he's done explaining the 3 shell trick, he moves the pea (or whatever it is). he then spends the next several minutes explaining the 2 shell trick while the trick is already set up, so those people THINK he did something amazing when the real trick of sleight if hand is to make action without the viewer expecting it.
Not to burst anyones bubble this guy didn't revel the trick. he told you a plausible story about how the first one is done so that the next trick seams even more implausible than it would usually seam. the flair the man shows is admirable but its not a hard illusion to preform. o and that thing about keeping the ball next to the money is bs just never play those games. if you end up turning over 2 shells you could end up turning over a shell with the ball in it.
Greg Savage Lol, "Greg Savage" here critiquing this incredible performer, I guess Greg must be much better. If you click on Greg's videos, you can see him performing the worst levitation trick I've ever seen. You can practically see the fishing line. Would make for a good comedy act though: ua-cam.com/video/PYuaaRzKj84/v-deo.html
+fook me I think they confuse "not that hard to do" with "I know the mechanics in which how the trick is done". I know a bunch of tricks, but no way in hell could I perform them well. Good magic takes a lot of practice. You might as well be saying some kind of sport feat (sorry I don't know sports, probably shouldn't be making an analogy) is not that hard because all the guy did was kick, throw, hit etc the ball.
Give anyone a day or 2 with this trick and they got it down... that's what makes this trick so dangerous to tourist. Tennis ball is some next level practice so I will yield to your point there.
its revealed, the ball in the classic shell game is either moved from one place to other in the last moment, or just removed so you have no chance at all to win, if you ever win, be sure they are going to get angry, so better not play or win.
the police in london cant do anything about this. they don't have people and time for this. they do sometimes send a police car to scare them and it works for a few hours but they'll come back again. all we can do is spread the word on facebook, myspace, twitter ect....
Michael is in on the trick.... 3:39 . He takes the ball. Then passes the ball to the man in the blue that's also part of the trick (or Blue Guy already has a duplicate ball). He places it under the other shell. Every shell game has plants. Out of 10 people watching, sometimes 8 of them are in on it. Some playing, some watching for cops, some keeping the nay-sayers out. Don't get scammed
just saw them today at the eiffel tower, there was like 3 groups. They were all part of the scam, usually there's 2 men and 2 women standing, it's hilarious how they even try to dress as tourists to make it look more convincing😂 Lowlifes
@@kanichiwoh might have been in one of the groups, im not sure. There's loads of tourists passing by there daily so imagine every day they find a few idiots who fall for it. At least you know what the whole scam is about now, right?
@@glutamin111 yah I understand it now. I was even super sceptical before hand but my girlfriend was there and she loves the odd gamble so she persuaded me into it..as soon as we lost I just knew it was one big dirty ass scam.
if he had a less distracting haircut, i'd probably notice all the hand tricks.
After you realize you've lost the bet, they say you can win it back if you bet a large amount more, they use high pressure tactics, in a group...where you think others are playing but they're in on the scam.
No dumb bell, he's not gambling, he's showing a magic trick.
The only way to win is to not play this game.
Ha war games
by far most jaw-dropping magic performance.

INSANE IN THA MEMBRAAAANE
Old guy in the background is like: "If I just pay close attention to this guy I will finally get ahead!"
I thought like that with my 4th grade teacher/part-time magician.. I think he secretly hated himself and is jealous of my eagle eyes
This guy is REALLY REALLY good. Top notch magician. Does anyone know his name?
his name is Marc Gassert, i spent years looking for his name and now i have it!
well you can track the cup and replay the vid everytime something new gets placed underneath. he does it the moment he reveals the last one and everyones still surprised at the last trick
3:36 the cover has a magnet on, just play the video on 0.25 and you will the ball will dissapear before the cover reach the table
Such a master, really smooth,
i understand how the three game shell works, but i have no idea how he made the red ball disappear and appear again from the cup at 6:08
Daaamn, it took me forever to realize how he pulled the last trick off. I think it was a wonderful performance with a very nice chat.
He moved the ball from the first cup and place in the second cup at mark 4:13- 4:17
That's the classic shell burp a pea on the roll and shell eat a pea on the roll but the other ones... give me a minute
WHAT THE FUCK!!! The tennis balls. I know the little red ball tricks but the tennis balls totally baffled me.
Easy to see the exchange. He pushes cup away at 4:15 takes ball out of it. Then moves shell towards him and slides ball under shell. The movements of the cup and shell are the give away. No reason to move them other wise.
He's amazing - I can see the way he palmed the tennis balls in when he removed the cup but I don't understand the trick at 3:37 - very good

Eric Stolar thanks for the reply, I honestly didn't notice that. He's incredible.
@ 4:14 he slides the cup up to the man and grabs the ball and slides the shell away from the kid and puts the ball under the shell
holy shit this guy is good!! wow awesome to watch him at work
He hadn't got me fooled even for one second. I knew he was a wizard the moment I saw him.

First one goes in at 6:42 - 6:44
In Amsterdam this game is a illegal street performance scam, either one gets scammed or amongst the onlookers there are pickpockets.
This guy would make a fortune scamming people in Paris.
7:42 he has the ring holder in his left hand and places the ring on it.
Where did the ring holder go when he snapped?

How did he move the ball in the all-in-the-spectators-hands phase? So amazing
He moves the cups so the guests can press them. The balls roll under the shells then. 4.14min is when he does the switch.
man what the hell! THIS GUY IS BRILLIANT
his name is Marc Gassert
I was amazed
3:35 Interesting how that pea moved towards the wrist of the supposed 'participant'. What a magnetic personality.
Yeah that was easy to spot, but still I don't understand all of it
I try to dirsupt their games when I cycle over there, it seems like an easy good deed.
Isnt that Walter whites son standing there? "Walter Junior"... "Im called Flynn now" :}
Winstan lol!
Wow good job.
