77TH ANNIVERSARY OF INDEPENDENCE OF INDIA

The 77th Independence Anniversary of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Aziza Dawood Naik High School, Ratnagiri, managed by Ideal Education and Welfare Society. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Sharik Zakaria Kazi (Eminent Businessman and Philanthropist), accompanied by distinguished guests Mr. Nazir Naik (Trustee), Mr. Muneer Shaikh (Vice-President), Mr. Yahya Sharik Kazi, and Mr. Mahmood Kazi.
The event commenced with a warm welcome for the guests, who were presented with flower bouquets and with a guard of honour by the Guide Troop. The tri-color was proudly hoisted by Mr. Sharik Kazi, an eminent businessman and philanthropist. This was followed by a plantation drive with the distinguished guests.
Students also participated in a rally and attended the District Level Flag Hoisting Function at Police Ground, Ratnagiri.
An Art Exhibition, centered on 'Jashn-e-Azadi,' was inaugurated by Mr. Yahya Kazi, providing a platform for students to showcase their artistic talents.
Another highlight of the event was a presentation on the 'History of the Tiranga,' accompanied by patriotic songs and a quiz contest, aimed at raising awareness about the flag and nurturing a competitive spirit among students. This initiative was highly praised by the guests.
The programmre concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, followed by a presidential speech by Mr. Muneer Shaikh, who extended his best wishes on Independence Day.
The headmaster expressed appreciation for the efforts of the staff members in making the events successful, and the day ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Zaiba Bhattiwale.
